Italian sausage is not my favorite meat but I do like it fried up and cabbage with hot sauce but your dinner looks amazing I love the way your vegetables always look I love your channel Debbie keep on keeping on making those good videos!
I think it also depends on what brand of sausage you get. Italian Sausage is really good in the dish sausage and peppers that are seasoned well on good rolls or Italian bread. Being Italian myself, I like to get the homemade spicy/hot sausage from an Italian pork store, it is amazing. It may have been the flavor you didn’t like, mild sausage can be bland. If you like things with a little spice to it, try Johnsonville Spicy Italian sausage, it has a much better flavor. The squash and sweet potatoes looked really good.

I make Italian sausage all the time never remove the casing, I've been eating 70 years delicious. 👍👍

If it was the casing that you didn't like, next time simply remove the casing, roll into small balls or make patties and lay on top of the squash. You can also just drop clumps of the meat on top.

Try doing that sausage on the grill with a nice char. Eat with a little bit of Dijon mustard, sooo good!
