    For your sweet potatoes, after you make them…create a bowl of them with drained black beans, sour cream and/or cheese, fried egg on top and then pico de Gallo or hot sauce. Delicious!!!

    Hello Tim and Stacy! I cant believe I forgot to watch this. In my brain I had so I checked and I had not. 🤪
    Nothing wrong with taking a day off. The bbq looked good.
    I am a fan of tofu Stacy. Too bad we dont live closer. I make myself tofu. The trick is to get some of gh water out if you want it crispy. Slice it. Lay it on a cookie sheet lined with towels, paper towels to soak up moisture. Lightly sprinkle with salt on each side. Put more towels on top and put another cookie sheet on top of it so it looks like a tofu burger and the cookie sheets are the buns. Than I add my iron skillets to weigh it down and I let it do its thing for 30min and then
    I fry it in a skillet. I dont marinate my tofu. I use dry seasonings on it. 😁
    Great video. Your voice relaxed me this morning. It's been a stressful week but each day is getting better.
    Praise God! 🙏❤

    We all love sweet potatoes and I love roasting them but I’ve never tried them with an egg. Sounds intriguing! I had to fast forward through the tofu part but all the rest looked yummy. Also I like that you named your Zumba Rosie. 😊

    Hi Stacy! I’m sure everyone needs a break from cooking sometimes, and your barbecue takeout food looks delicious! We’ve made a habit of getting takeout on Friday evenings, so that’s usually my night off from cooking. The tofu was a surprise, and I died laughing at Tim’s comment: the cousin of toe jam, lol! 😂 I’m sure Keith would say the same thing! I love zucchini boats, but I’ve never tried taco ones. Great idea!

    Hi =) your take out bbq looks so good! Good to take Labor Day off! And the Chinese looked so yummy too. I'm with Tim on the tofu 😉 I thought of you a week or so ago when our Chinese buffet opened back up again! You get your plate & just tell the gals behind the buffets what you would like & they put it on your plate. That way, you are only touching the plate you are eating off of & nothing else. We were sure happy for a Chinese buffet meal! Take care and have a great week!

    Oh my goodness those bbq ribs & chicken looked delicious. That is what I miss the most not living in the South. I was anticipating seeing Tim eat the tofu. I haven’t had boiled peanuts in years!!! People here in the North have not heard of them. Great tips regarding cast iron skillet.

    I live in the Deep South and we eat roasted peanuts. I hate boiled peanuts. To me they taste like they’re rotten! But I’m with you with the breakfast food. I could eat it any time of the day! I love your videos and I think you are an amazing cook and I think Tim is hilarious! I enjoy each and every video that you make and look forward eagerly to the next one!

    Hey y'all excited about the tofu. I took my 15yo to a town next up and we went to a place called Brothers Ramen, excellent place! We ordered apps and I got steamed and salty edamame and she ordered tofu. Neither of us has ever had either and we are in love. And to see this tofu recipe I am so excited! Gurl you have made this ole woman happy, lol. They served the tofu with a dash of soy and some bonito flakes, oh my, my, my. Also my easy go to is a can of sliced potatoes fried with a runny egg on top. Okay enough of me blabbering, we love y'all and God Bless, Marilyn. Oh zucchini boats, the insides seem to make the mixture runny. So I recently saw Julia Pacheo use the insides and make a quick fritter and it seemed frugal. Okay enough, lol!!🤪

    Hi Stacy! Another week of delicious meals! The BBQ from your local spot looked great. I always tell myself I have to try making Chinese food at home like you do- I know I’d love the chicken! Paninis are a great dinner idea! Adding that to my list of possibilities. The taco zucchini boats looked yummy. I have a recipe for Italian stuffed zucchini boats and haven’t made them in a while. Now I want them LOL! Thanks for sharing! Hope you and Tim have a wonderful and blessed week ahead! 🤗♥️

    As always, your simple meals look so yummy. I could not believe it when you took the 1/2 lb. of turkey out…I freeze mine that exact same way. My hubby likes boiled peanuts but sad to say, this southern gal, not so much. You have reminded me to try some meatless meals using tofu. My late momma made a lasagna using tofu and it was very good. Wish we were next door neighbors…I’m sure we would be best friends. Y’all take care and God bless❣️

    Hi Stacy! Oh my, I’ve never had tofu. I don’t think I could eat it just because of the texture. I actually don’t even know what it is 😂 But I always think you’re so brave for trying so many different foods!! Did you eat the whole squash in the taco bowls? Like the inside without the skin along with the taco mixture? I’m glad you all loved it! That’s totally something I could make my for my family. 😊 Mmmmmm the paninis looked delicious and so did your toast with the jelly. I might need to go make me some toast now lol I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! ❤️

    I tried cooking with tofu and it was a fail for me. I'll try your way and see how it goes. Everything else looked great. I'll try the zucchini boats. I would have used the inside of the zucchini, I don't like wasting food either. Have a great week.

    Next time don’t marinate the tofu, just pat it dry and dip in some potato starch or flour and fry in a pan and then toss in the sauce. Usually if u don’t coat in like a batter it won’t get that crispy… but I like the flour method cause it’s easier.

    You've given me so many ideas….so here is one for you. I made cheesy bean flautas for dinner tonight. I pan fried them in oil (something I don't do very often and so I'm not that good at it). I bet they would work well in your air fryer!! Mexican, beany, cheesy goodness….quick too. Could add meat if you wanted. Served with guacamole and salsa, cucumbers on the side. Yum.

    I somewhat followed this recipe:

    ~~~TIM~~~ you have to take a little bite of tofu. I know, I know, I felt the same way UNTIL I tried it the way Stacy prepared it. You’ll be embarrassed 😳 that you’ll have to admit you like it HA!!!
    Stacy, when I make zucchini boats, I add most of the scraped out zucchini to what ever sauce I’m making. No waste and it adds great texture to the sauce.
    Love you Stacy, love you Tim and LOVE y’alls channel. ❤️🥰❣️🙏
    Oh yum! I love crispy tofu. Tim, you are missing out bud. The sweet taters with egg looked fabulous, I usually add roasted beets diced up with my sweet potatoes for the hash. Mushroom & cheese omelets are always excellent. Only tried boiled peanuts once, wasn't impressed, maybe it is time to revisit them.
