Hi, Debbie! I am so sorry to see you disappointed in your meal. It’s so hard to recreate those same flavors we tasted before. I use to put my onions in a glass of water, too; but you have to eat them up pretty quick cause they will start to deteriorate after a bit. Oh, yes! Dipping them in salt is the best😂. I have been around for several years, I am 72. I do know the longer they stay in the ground the harder they get, and the tougher the greens will get. I love the greens 💕. There were pintos on my grandma’s table every day and I still love them to this day and great northerns too!! Never had white beans until I met my first husband’s family back in the early 1960’s😂🤣 in Indiana! I am from Tennessee 💕🌻

Hey Debbie your dinner looks so good but im sorry your beef didnt have the taste you were looking for like you had the other day. Its so nice you have garden fresh tomatoes and big green onions too. I love watching you cook Debbie and listening to you talk and dont worry about talking too long or too much because im the same way, i love to talk too but my husband not so much so i try not to bother him and our adult kids are busy with their lives so it does get so quiet sometime and i miss the days so much when they were at home, but time goes by so fast. But if you and i were neighbors i think we would have a great time talking together about days and years gone by. But i love your videos Debbie and you are always so nice and you make me smile on every video. Take care Debbie and will see you next time. Have a great week ahead.

Beautiful green onions, I love them. I clean wash and rolls into paper towels and then into aluminum foil roll tight will stay fresh for weeks. I also do my celery the same way. ❤💚
