Hey from Mississippi. I've been watching you for several months and I feel like we are friends! I also show love to my family and friends through cooking. We have similar style and likes in the kitchen. I have made several of your recipes. I enjoy hanging out with you in your kitchen. Thanks for all you do. I also enjoy when you share about your faith and how wonderful the Lord is to all of us. I have a plaque hanging over my back door that says "There is always a reason to be grateful" . Just want you to know that I'm grateful for you💖

I make a very similar chicken & dumplings, except I do it on the stove top (cook the chicken first) and use Reamer's noodles instead of the gnocchi. Either way, delicious! Thanks for sharing! PS…try it over mashed potatoes YUM 😋

I saw on IG where you were talking about that sheet pan seasoning and I bought some to try. I’ve got to try your daughter’s meal prep idea. I think that would be great to do on a weekend that my daughter is here so she can take the meals back to school with her. I think they would be perfect for a dorm room meal. Your cake turned out so pretty! I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi Momma Mel! I've been watching your videos for about a month now but I've never introduced myself. I'm 24 years old and your videos are not only comforting to me, but they also help me learn how to cook and meal plan now that I'm on my own as an adult! Thanks so much for bringing us into your kitchen 🍽️

Oh, that cake!!!! I'm drooling! I have never made a square layered cake either but yours turned out beautifully. And strawberry is one of my favorites. I didn't cook much this past week. There's only 2 of us here and sometimes it is just easier to go eat somewhere but this week I have got to get back in the game because easier doesn't always taste better. As always thanks for the inspiration.

Hey Mel 💕 everything looks yummy! Happy belated birthday to your birthday girl. Today is my grandson’s birthday, somehow he has hit double digits and it just doesn’t seem possible. Tomorrow we will be laying his other grandma to rest, and we could sure use some prayers.

It is the shape more of an hourglass than a square. 🙂 I never tested anything including dinner parties I would lay in bed and think of what sounded good together and make it for the very first time and never had a complaint. 🙂
