I used to watch your videos religiously when I was in hs. But then I stopped getting your videos on my subscriptions. Today I was on tiktok and a lady with a southern accent was doing a video on her weekly dinners and you suddenly popped in my head. I couldn’t remember what your Channel name was so i searched up “whats for dinner Kristie” scrolled down and found you! Yayy haha. Im about to go into my last year of college, so crazy how fast time flies:,). Great video as always!

I actually have two of those egg molds, I use them with the trivet and some aluminum foil to stack them up in the instant pot. I make hard boiled egg whites to have on hand. I’m on a diet and my Dr recommended the egg whites in a carton to use and I just decided to try it for just the whites alone one day to see if it would work. I don’t like buying whole eggs cause they seem to go bad before I can use them. But the egg whites in the carton or the egg beaters brand of egg substitute work great for me. They both work with my diet and I use them with the egg molds all the time. Note: lid works great to prep them in advance the night before then just pop them in the IP!

I have made a version of these for years. They are great. As a shortcut I use GF Bisquick (I'm Celiac) and I add cream cheese. Never tried the maple syrup – think I will next time. I use mild italian sausage meat but it would be really good with bacon pork instead.

I made cheese danish for Christmas using rolls of crescent roll dough. Super easy. Soften a block of cream cheese and mix in jelly of choice (I did lemon curd but strawberry jam is awesome too!). Eyeball your measurements! Unroll the dough and spread the cheese mixture on it. Roll dough back up and slice like cinnamon rolls. Bake on parchment paper covered pan according to directions on the dough can until golden. Yes, a little messy to make but taste wonderful!

You can make a romesco sauce from the roasted red peppers. There’s tons of recipes online. I also love to make stuffed pepper soup with roasted red peppers. YouTube doesn’t let me link recipes but there’s tons online.

These are great ideas! I am absolutely making the cheese danishes. I have some leftover Hawaiian rolls that my husband got into and only ate 3 and some of that leftover premade chesscake filling that I’ve been needing to use up. I’m making these today!
I’m a Pacific Northwesterner married to a southerner and he never likes the typical health food minimal effort oatmeal smoothie or yogurt and fruit that I eat but these look like they’d all reheat great. I watch because I grew up eating vegetarian and more crunchy type food and have no idea how to make comfort food type meals that aren’t super labor intensive. Your ideas are so helpful and he likes everything I’ve tried.

I make the egg bites in muffin cups instead of the Instant Pot. That way I can make 2 dozen at a time for meal prep or brunch gatherings. ALWAYS a hit. ALWAYS! :-). They freeze so very well, too.

Roasted red pepper Alfredo is one of my favorite recipes. You can either make your own Alfredo sauce, or buy whatever one you like. Chop some red pepper up, and mix them into the sauce. Super easy.

These looked so yummy! Have you seen the trick to add melted butter to buttermilk that has been chilled in the freezer for 10 minutes? It forms little clumps of butter and you can avoid grating or cutting the butter in!
