I love Velveeta! I'm going to try the spaghetti recipe! MORE VELVEETA DISHES, PLEASE! Little hint: microwave your lime or lemon for 10 to 15 sec to get more juice. Also rolling it firmly on the counter top or cutting board a couple times helps, too.

My favorite Velveeta recipe is one I use every year for our family reunions.
    Sausage Balls:
Combine 1 pound uncooked breakfast sausage (I've used regular and/or hot Jimmy Dean's), 8 ounces Velveeta cubed and 3 cups Bisquick. Be sure all ingredients are well incorporated, I have done it by hand and I have used my stand mixer. Shape into ΒΎ – 1 inch balls and arrange on a ungreased baking sheet. Leave a little space between them for them to expand just a little while they bake. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes at 350Β°F. Enjoy warm or at room temperature. These make a nice finger food/appetizer.

I use it to make macaroni and cheese with peas and chicken. My husband and daughter are gluten intolerant but love Mac and cheese so I needed a quick way to make it for them and Velveeta melts quicker than cheddar.

Okay, well, I'm 73 and I had never heard of Velveeta cheese growing up. The fist time I had it, was when I was in my 20's. AND, that was the last time.
I prefer real cheese. There are so many other ones that "are to die for"!

Funny – my Dad used Velveeta as FISH BAIT! When he would go fishing, he would put a little velveeta on the hook and boy, the fish loved it! Growing up, I always saw this as fish bait and when I saw someone cook with it I almost threw up! I like it now, it is good stuff! I have been watching you for a couple of years now and I love your videos! Love Gracie! I have 2 cats – both females one named Abby and the other Ozzie (there is a story to this if you are interested!

My parents have dip every Friday night. My mama has several in her rotation and they have chips and dip and watch their shows that she records during the week and Live On Patrol. I sent her this because I think they would love this dip. I think a good many of the dips we like have Velveeta in them. The Pioneer Woman has a stove top mac & cheese that has Velveeta in it and it is so good (and easy)……perfect for a quick side dish. We like angel hair pasta (or thin if that's all I can find) and I break it up into 4 pieces as I'm dropping it in the water. I got in that habit when my son was little (he didn't like the long pieces) and that's how we like it now.

✍🏼Hello Mandy and "Gracie"🐾So good to see you tonight. Growing up in the 50s my mom would buy the A&P brand of that block of cheese but when I married in the 60s I bought and used Velveeta. I have always used Velveeta cheese until I started shopping at ALDI 20 + years ago. If you have an ALDI store nearby their brand of cheese is exactly the same and truly tastes the same but is 4.00 cheaper. It makes great grilled cheese sandwiches as well as is delicious in casseroles. I make this dish (home made hamburger helper) and love it with a side of peas. Thanks for sharing these recipes. Looking forward to your next video. Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from your digital pen pal from Ohio🌹

I have tried to like the flavor of Velveeta, but I just cannot like it. We never had it in our kitchen when I was growing up…..my parents purchased all our cheeses from a deli down the street. Cheddar, Edam, Mozzarella, Swiss and Gouda…..they were the cheeses my mom used in her recipes. I guess it is all just what you were raised with.

My mac and cheese uses half velveeta and half regular cheese. The cheese snobs don't know this in my family, but my dish of mac is almost always the one that is cleared out at gatherings. Some secrets are best left unsaid and much appreciated.
