Take everything you have eaten this day and add a 16 ounce ribeye and eat it all in one meal and you will easily lose weight. My wife will confirm this that I eat more while I was losing 120 pounds than I did before, the difference is I eat it in one meal. It took me two months to gradually get to one meal a day but after the two months I was fat adapted and was never hungry again. It is easy to lose weight when you are never hungry. Calories are not important when comes to weight loss. The key is keeping your insulin levels low for long periods of time and your hormones will get back into balance. My testosterone is now much higher than before. A full resistance training session for maximum muscle building should last no more than 20 to 25 minutes and you should not be able to pick up a pencil when done. I do my work out once a week after I am 22 hours fasted. During my two year journey I weighed once every two months. I never counted calories or weighed food. Number one rule is never eat anything with more than one word in the ingredient list. I am still eating the same way without effort while maintaining and I love it and will do it forever. I love never being hungry. If you are eating more than twice a day you will eventually fail. Good luck.

i totally relate to your ideas about dieting and excercise. I have come to the same thoughts after 5 years of keto and experimenting with lifestyles. Im menapausal now and am struggling so hard to loose weight. I just cant bring myself to eating keto anymore even though its the only program that satiated me. I miss the carbs I am going to eat some beans too hoping to fill the carb void.

Thanks so much Jess for another great video. I too have struggled with keto these last two years and am switching to low carb. I was so excited when I heard you were doing this. You are literally the answer to my prayers.

Thank you for this series. I just found your channel and am starting my own Keto Rewind. I actually had great success when I first started in 2014 and kept it off for 3+ years but had severe brain trauma and have since put it ALL back on. But I’m ready to do it, again. Thanks, again for sharing your journey. I’m thinking I may, too, for accountability! 😊

I know i keep on about slimming world, but they've got some lovely receipes with home made sauces and all sorts, which are really tasty. I expect you could modify them to be low carb, but theyre lovely colourful dishes, with only veg, protein, amd whatever carb you do or dont want. I'm specifically thinking of eastern style chicken, and diet coke (i use diet pepsi) chicken. Yum. Marinated chicken with home made chips (english chips) and a yoghurt dip with roasted veg. Your cabbage chips would work instead of spuds!

Happy New Year Jess and family! This is your year…..you will do it this year! And I will follow you and glean your advice and tips……I officially need to lose around 100 pounds,
    size 24 -22-20-18-to 14/16.
You have 40, you will do it!
Making changes myself, and hoping to get control of my mental and physical health! Decluttering and organizing. I'm hoping that if I eliminate or decrease my carbs that my Arthritis will go away or be less often. And my AADD brain will function better. Lol….get more restful sleep. And even though I walk most of my 8 hour shift at the Hospital ( I'm in Food service. I deliver meal trays to the patients. A lot of lifting heavy trays and bending and pushing a heavy metal food cart…..and lots of walking…..it isn't really "exercise" As my body is used to that. Over 13 years doing it and I haven't lost any weight!) I believe that it helps my muscles in my arms and legs somewhat, and my lungs too. Except, I don't feel that is completely true. I have never smoked and my lungs should be good, I think my weight hinders my breathing.
But, changes are a coming! I will be 56 in December, I have yo-yo dieted on and off for decades. I went from 165 to 180 by graduation, then up to 250. Then down to 230-240 for several years. Then went down to 108, 30 years ago. Then up as high as 262, 13 years ago. Down to 141 a few years ago…..then back up to 272! Now down to 166. My goal is 165 or 170, depends on how I look and feel. 180 -200 I looked ok…..had my shirts tucked in and look OK! So……I can hold the weight well. Even Doctors and Nurses are surprised at my weight. I Never get guessed my weight or age! Lol….anyway
You and your family are one of the few groups that inspire me. May we both reach our goals! Bless you and yours.
Be safe and stay healthy! Angela
