Hi! I tried your tinctures for the first time. I am using the hibiscus in my tea every morning, Is it ok to heat with the tea? Any tips on how to get the tumeric down? It is very strong, but we both need inflammation help! Thanks for all the great info you put out, your homestead is beautiful.

Anyone with any type of autoimmune issues, please seek out physician consult before taking elderberry or other immune boosting supplements. Autoimmune patients already have over active immune response and are often placed on immunosuppressant medications, so adding in supplements that stimulate the immune system might not be best practice. Again, talk with your physician.

I love rice..I love more to make rice pilaf..brown 1/4 cup fine egg noodles or orzo in a few tbsp of butter till browned..toss in 3/4 cup long grain rice..I like Carolina brand..coating the rice with the butter.. then add 2 cups chicken broth..cover and simmer 20 mins..yum..I take the leftover and toss with shredded baked chicken and heat on a skillet.. no waste
