Mango powder is also good when dry roasting jackfruit with spices to make tacos, before adding in tomatoes or salsa then scrape the fond off the bottom of the pan – Adds a beautiful depth of flavor! I loved this video, yall are so cute, & miss seeing Crystal's videos on her channel too. I hope she comes back! The food looks great! ❤️👏👍🏻🧏🏻‍♀️

I love these hikes and “what I eat in a day” vids. You are so lucky to have such incredible nature to hike. And, stopping for a giant sandwich 🥪 along the way is fun!

Love these videos and huge compliments for the editing skills. Cutting from the onion in the basket to the onion on the chopping board was a nice touch. Smooth, mister!

Great video! Just wanted to add my 2 cents by saying that light coconut milk is a waste of money unless it is significantly cheaper, since it is just watered down, so may as well buy the regular one and just use less and add some extra water, saves on money and cans.

Loved the video! Thank you. The sour crans look yummy. I live in New Jersey and they don’t seem available in the US however I am coming to Canada next month and will look for them then. Any other Canadian only vegan foods you would recommend?

I never get tired of these videos. My coach wants me to do what I eat in a day video for my gym and I’m using your ideas as inspiration. As I’m one of the only vegans at my gym, I feel the responsibility of representing plant based eating in an interesting way. Thanks, Derek!

What supplements/proteins would you recommend for females. Do we, for instance, need to have creatine? Or are there better options? Also, at what level of fitness and/or activity would you recommend taking these supplements? For instance, does a complete beginner who is only walking/jogging every day need protein powders/creatine etc? Anyway, sorry for the silly questions, I hope they made sense and that you can help me/us a little bit.

Don't feel bad about using the light coconut milk, I've boiled rice in coconut flavored seltzer water so you have a ways to go before you hit rock bottom. FWIW, the rice did have a very subtle coconut flavor but that flavor largely disappeared after I added a cinnamon-PB2 sauce and slices of banana.
