I could watch your videos all day long really, every thing that you eat looks truly delicious and the way you talk about food and your relationship with it is really soothing. I feel like I am making big steps in my recovery right now and you are definitely helping me so much healing my relationship with food. Love you sooo much <3

my favorite breakfast isn't really typical breakfast-y. but my favorite thing to have is a bowl of white rice with 2 over-easy eggs, and then i just sautee whatever veggies i have. and put some maggie sauce (or soy sauce) on top and it's just so yummy and hearty.

I’ve been meal prepping breakfast bowls the past few weeks, and I’m obsessed with them! I have a super busy schedule with school and work, and having something actually yummy ready is life changing. I make frozen shredded hash browns, sausage and egg!

My favorite breakfast is a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with waffles or pancakes as the bread and white sharp cheddar as the cheese (I don't add any syrups but you could if that's what you like) 🙂

This isn't really a recipe, but I love a good croissant with fresh berries and French style yogurt in the morning! Also for an actual recipe, I just made some really nice blueberry overnight oats:
    -1/3 c quick oats
-1/2 c milk of choice (I used blueberry lavender almond milk 😍)
-100g frozen blueberries (a big handful will work just fine)
    -1 scoop powdered peanut butter
    -1 tsp chia seeds
    -1/2 tsp cinnamon

Let it sit in the fridge overnight and top with some maple syrup and nut butter the next morning 😁

Hi lovely Kailin.. I just wanted to say that I’ve been following you for a while now, before I chose to recover & now well into my recovery & never once has my Ed managed to twist a thing you’ve said, your videos have always been a place of solace and where that voice is quiet. I’m so grateful for you and the way you explain your choices. You’re just the most genuine person to listen to & spend the day with. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️

You always know exactly what I need ❤ impeccable timing with this upload thank you 😊. I've taken some time off work as my anxiety has been atrocious as of late and I'm struggling with some bad panic/anxiety attacks. Wondering if you can touch on anxiety, long term management and managing in the heat of the moment 🤔 Love you to absolute pieces Kailin and so proud of you for recognising that you needed to take some time to focus on yourself ❤

I’m not sure if you have this brand in Canada, but I highly suggest any of the Yogi brand teas! My favorite is the bedtime or Honey Lavender stress relief ❤️🥰

Breakfast idea that ive been having nonstop lately: tofu scramble! I crumble some tofu in a pan, add any veggies I have on hand but usually I like adding bell pepper, mushrooms, and spinach. then add salt, pepper, tiny bit of garlic powder, tons of nutritional yeast, and some red pepper flakes for spice. Serve with a piece of toast and a side of ketchup!

I haven't been on YouTube in a bit but I am back now! I have been doing well (in my opinion at least?) in recovery lately. Recovery is mentally hard but it is also so nice. It is so nice that I ordered what sushi and appetizer I wanted for dinner, & wasn't getting mad at my mom about dinner being "too late" because I wasn't famished by 5:30pm because I ate enough during the day.
It is so nice that after school a few days ago I went to Starbucks and got a cake-pop & the drink I actually wanted. And it is so nice that I can spend time with friends or family & truly focus on being with them, not whatever food is or might be involved.
One of my favorite parts is that my brain can relax. My ed might not like some things, but I am putting myself before my ed instead of trying to change myself so my ed likes me.

And yes to the intuitive eating guide video and a week of breakfasts! I have a few recipes that i love to share from my Hong Kong background.

Sweet Hong Kong French Toast ⬇️

Ingredients – 2 slices bread, peanut butter, butter, 1 egg (you will have leftovers so you can scramble them for a side of you want), and condensed milk

    Steps
    – Spread peanut butter onto one piece of toast leaving some room on all edges
    – Drizzle condensed milk on top of the peanut butter
    – Place the other piece on bread on top and press on the edges to seal the fillings inside
    – Beat an egg and coat the sandwich in the egg mixture letting any excess drip off
    – Melt butter in a pan and fry on both sides until golden
    – Enjoy!

Savory Hong Kong Macaroni and Ham Soup ⬇️

Ingredients – 2 slices of ham or 1 thin slice of a block of spam cubed, 1 cup macaroni, 2 cups unsalted chicken broth (add water if needed), 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, salt, cooking oil, 1 egg, and (optional) mixed frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, etc.) and green onions

    Steps
    – Cook the macaroni according to the package but cook it for 1 minute LESS as the hot soup the macaroni will be added to later will cook it further so we don’t want it to end up soggy
    – In another pot add the chicken broth with water and add in the sesame oil, soy sauce, and frozen vegetables and bring to a boil
    – Taste and add salt as needed
    – In a pan with oil fry up the cubed meat until crisp and put to the side on a paper towel to drain
    – In the same pan fry up a sunny-side-up egg
    – Ladle some soup into a bowl and add the macaroni and ham
    – Top with fried egg and green onion
    – Enjoy!

These are both incredibly nostalgic dishes for me, and I hope they’re delicious if you choose to try them! Sending you so much love 💕
