    My advice is to forget the instant pot. The way I make hard boiled eggs is to get a pot of water boiling on the stove. Drop in the eggs using a slotted spoon and let them boil for 13 minutes. Stop the cooking by running the eggs under cold water. The shell just about fall off. If you want soft boiled eggs, use the same method just don't boil them as long.
