It's probably just me but I hate thick burgers. I can't open my mouth that wide so it isn't a sandwich any more because I have to take it apart to eat it. The pasta salad looks yummy. You could add pretty much any fresh veggies to that and I'd love it. Chocolate and chilies go well together. I'd eat that cake.

I'm always curious what restaurant the sauce comes from. I got a bag of Swiss cheese sauce one time and I'm thinking it came from Wendy's bc they use a Swiss cheese sauce for their breakfast sandwiches. But I'm just guessing.

Oh my goodness, that kind of beef meat, just took me back to my youth. They didn't have food stamps when I was little but they had the government relief and they had those cans. They had beef pork and chicken. They were so good. Thanks for the flashback of memories.

That’s a lot of sauce! If you get this much sauce again you could put it in an ice cube tray and freeze. Once frozen transfer to gallon bag or plastic container, then pull out and thaw a few cubes as needed. Also, if you have any meat or beans that need canned up you could use some of that sauce to flavor them!

I use expired cake mix from time to time and worst case scenario you will need to add baking powder. Baking powder in cake mixes is the first thing to lose its potency. Love the video! Keep em coming! 🙂

I've just found your channel. You do amazing and creative things with that food. So fun to watch. I love the challenge myself when I do get the hampers. I use cocoa powder in my vegan chilli beans for depth of flavour so it didn't seem to crazy to try that cake. Well done on giving it a go. I would freeze the rest and add to future soups and casseroles. Thank you for normalising food banks/hampers,lovely . ❤

Where's the bacon? lol. Those hamburgers look Devine. Save one for me. You belong on PBS telling everyone how to cook with food bank food. Those noodles wouldn't last 2 days with me eating them all up. I always rinse those cans of beef or pork under extremely hot water to rinse the fat out. Then I soap the sink and rinse with hot water. I never get a clogged sink. That meat goes great with everything. BBQ Sloppy Joe delicious. I like the toast dark the way you did the 4 buns. Dark chocolate frosting for chocolate overload yum!
