Beth-congrats to you regarding 100# weight loss. I agree with you summary re oil…although both foods you speak of r higher calories eating small portions is always an option vs none. I also like how you used the powdered peanut butter vs processed jar option. I “love” peanut butter but it is also a trigger for me to eat more than I should. So you example use in am meal is a good one for me.
Lastly, I’m a nurse practitioner and I loved viewing your baby “enjoying” the homemade hummus! Getting children use to WFPB lifestyle from the start is the best option in my option. It appeared the baby enjoyed the hummus more than the carrot but perhaps I maybe wrong. Does the baby eat what you eat as well? Enjoyed your video!

Thanks Courtney -I like all these meals! I need to cut back a bit on my pasta consumption so I like that you added the chickpeas and broccoli. Curried potatoes look yummy too. I'm with you on the tahini – it's just ground up sesame seeds not an oil.

I too agree on the tahini, I think someone’s folks get confused about “no oil” vs “no fat.” Those are two different things. I’ve never made hummus with oil, but I’ve sometimes elected too leave out the tahini if I want a fat free hummus. It’s much better with the tahini of course! 😘

Excellent what Courtney ate in a day video. I definitely would make the vegan Mac and Cheese but would prefer home made mashed potatoes because I don't like the dehydrated stuff.I only view tahi as a oil if it contained other ingredients besides sesame seeds for example if it contained oil not from sesame seeds. I only buy peanut butter that is 100% peanuts none of the sugar and palm oil stuff. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤Courtney & family 👪.

Hi Courtney! I love your videos! Were you able to eat the rich cashew sauces and still lose weight? Wondering what your experience has been with nuts throughout your weight loss journey..

I often get myself all caught up with, building my plate.
Like yesterday I had a medium sized steamed potato with your Lentil Taco mix on top, I was going to put some of my roasted pumpkin into my meal and then got confused, thinking that would be too much starch. So I had some Brussel sprouts. Starches and Legumes make me confused, do they go together on the starch side of the plate?

I need to not get soo excited watching your videos. I live on my own and I already have a freezer full of meals. I want to try to make all your recipes 🐽🤣😂.

I don’t usually have the Tahini, other YouTubers say it’s high in fat and not good for weight loss. But TBO I get really annoyed trying to mix it up in the jar, because the oil rises to the top. I tried keeping the jar upside down, but it leaked out and made a mess. I don’t eat nut butters for the same reason. 🤓❣️

I’m loving your content! I’ve subscribed 😍 I love hot food on cold greens too, I’ve never seen anyone else do this lol. Curious though..how do you maintain your weight loss while eating potatoes? I thought they turned into sugar once in our system..

It took me a while to wrap my head around the oil-free hummus idea when coming to this way of eating. I personally pour the oil off the top of the tahini, I just don't personally like the texture. I agree, however this is not the same as pouring some hydrogenated oil in your food. Hummus with tahini….I can' t imagine.
