Spaghetti with garlic bread, ground beef or turkey tacos with refried beans and Mexican rice(I make it myself but you can get the box rice one) , teriyaki chicken with broccoli and rice, any baked pasta with red sauce or Alfredo and a bunch of cheese with a salad. Philly cheesesteaks with the shaved beef. Burgers and fries. Those are a few of my easy go tos

Did you dye your hair black? I love it! 😍 also, enchiladas and chicken tacos (chicken from rotisserie chicken is easiest) are our staples! Chicken noodle casserole is 🤤🤤 chicken pot pie with canned chicken or rotisserie chicken is super easy too!

Here are some dinners I’ve been making. I found out I have type 2 diabetes recently so I’ve been trying to do better with my diet.
Bbq chicken wraps with purple onion (I use unsweetened primal bbq and add my own sweetener) on low carb tortillas with roasted sweet potato, this evening I made turkey meatloaf with a homemade sugar free glaze (my kids absolutely loved it!) and I just made mashed potatoes and green beans for the sides, I can’t eat it anymore but my kids are obsessed with beef n noodles or chicken n noodles with mashed potatoes and a vegetable, ground turkey taco salad, Mediterranean bowls (Panera bread copy cat) I use chopped spinach instead of arugula, one of those 90 second 7 grain pouches from aldi, topped with cut cherry or grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, olives, hummus, Greek yogurt, chicken (or chickpeas) and feta cheese — my kids LOVE this meal! I know it’s not for everyone, my kids love the fresh vegetables that’s why they love it so much, salmon with sweet potatoes or regular potatoes and broccoli, chickpea pasta with ground turkey and Raos with a green vegetable (and my kids get garlic bread with this), shrimp fajitas with Spanish rice for the side (another kid favorite), kabobs with baked potato

Chomps is whole food approved!! They’re a bit pricey but in my opinion they’re worth it since like you said the other sticks do not make me feel well after eating them. All of the sodium and processed meat. It’s been super warm here in Indiana too!! I love the dark hair!!

This is probably not an easy idea but making a bone broth in the instant pot and then just adding chopped veggies. Let the veggies cook in the bone broth until soft. You could also add cooked chicken. Make it a chicken soup.

Wait what was wrong with your laundry detergent you were making? I’ve seen lots of people make detergent that way 😅. Is it because car seat warranty will void? Hope you’re feeling good after your surgery!

Hi Olivia! What about pasta? Like pasta bow ties with Alfredo sauce and white meat chicken and broccoli.
Even spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread on the side. If the girls aren’t crazy about the meat, you could just use marinara. Have you made the girls tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches? It’s a good combo and pretty quick and easy. I still like that myself. And then there’s always breakfast for dinner. My kids used to love that. Just put the bacon in the oven and bake it while you make pancakes. I added mini chocolate chips to the pancakes and dusted them with powdered sugar. You could add some scrambled eggs if you wanted, but usually the kids are fine with pancakes and a couple slices of crispy bacon. And on the nights you’re really tired…my kids loved pizza rolls. And the 6 inche pizzas from Costco. They come in a box with an assortment of plain cheese and cheese and pepperoni. You can heat in the microwave. Smoothies as their drink is a great way to get some veggies and fruits in them that they’ll readily consume. Take care!!

There’s this recipe I make called honey soy ginger chicken thighs (can substitute for legs) that I got from TikTok by a creator called Toni Chapman. I modify the recipe to suit mine and my family’s tastes but it’s always a hit and my family constantly asks me to make it for them.
I season the chicken (skin-on, bone-in) with salt, pepper, lemon pepper (a good amount), enough paprika to give it some color, garlic powder, onion powder, and then add some oil. I don’t follow the recommended amounts because she uses way too much paprika and not enough of the other seasonings in my opinion. Then make on a baking sheet at 375° for about 45 mins (depends on the size).
In a saucepan, I use 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce (has to be reduced, regular is wayyy too salty), 1/2 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of orange juice, 1 tbsp of ground ginger powder, and as much minced garlic as you want. Let it simmer on the stove for like 10 mins, stir occasionally but make sure it doesn’t boil over (medium-low heat). It should thicken up as it cools.
Once everything is done, baste or pour the sauce over the chicken and then broil for about 3 mins.
I love this recipe because although it takes an hour technically, a lot of it is just in the oven and you don’t really have to do much. I pair it with white rice and broccoli. Hits every time. Added bonus that thighs and legs tend to be cheaper than breast (cries in rising chicken breast prices 😢).

this is not in a snarky tone Why don’t you get things like water/ juice boxes, rice, bars, ETC. at Sam’s, Costco or BJs ? It will save you money and trips. I shop at Aldi as well for the smaller items. I’m just curious

Everything has gotten so expensive it’s insane. Loving the dark hair on you, looks great! Hope you’re feeling well. Have a great day and as always, sending all my best to you and your beautiful little family!
