I totally get the end of the day exhaustion. Once my toddler is in bed, my brain just shuts down. Q&A videos are a great alternative. 🙂 Get your self care, girl! ❤

I'm really enjoying your vlogs – such a reflection of actual normal life!
As for your blanket – while the skeins may be from the same company and colour, the dye lots can vary from one to the other. The dye lot # can be found on the packaging. This also applies to curtains (my mom found that out the hard way 25 years ago!).

Just curious. Have you ever thought of doing more vegetarian meals? Not sur what you eat during the week but in the weekend vlogs we always see meat being eaten. With so many viewers to your vlog it'd help normalize not eating meat so much if you showed it wasn't super hard or a big deal. And it's better for health as well as the environment.

I have two toddlers, one of whom really doesn’t sleep very well and is also teething. I’m completely exhausted and feeling sorry for myself, and decided to watch your vlog as a treat. Your vlogs always cheer me up, so thank you so much! Such a loving family with positive vibes 🧡

Ashley you and your family are changing lives! Thank you for how informative your videos are and for leading by example. I’ve followed the books you’ve recommended for parents but could you make a list of some of the girls’ favorite books or describe how you choose library books for your girls? All the best to you and your beautiful family!

I grew up in France, Dr Seuss and the grinch weren’t a thing at all. One day we received this massive grinch stuffy from my cousin who had cousins in America and we felt exactly the same thing as your girls. We wondered why that stuffy was so ugly and creepy looking and who would buy such a thing for kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ but slept with it for years. I moved to Canada a couple years ago, now I understand !
I also realized that my cousin probably thought it was a creepy gift and gave it to us 😂

I know you recently did the little IKEA kitchen but I’d take out the desk and expand the pantry! With doors so the stuff is hidden! The girl’s kitchen stuff can also be at the bottom.

Might have already been said but if you want your yarn to all match exactly, make sure you get all the same dye batch – most yarns will have a little code on the packaging that tells you the dye lot/batch. If you get all the same batch you should be less likely to get a different shade like this

What's Happening or Full Montessori video: My son (18months) loves loves anything with wheels, but recently I heard that having him push a car around and say vroom is not Montessori. How do I add the Montessori elements into his play with his cars, trucks and construction equipment? I have looked and not gotten much of an answer. thanks!

You could check out Cas from Clutterbug. She is like the next step after The Minimal Mom as she does a lot of organization videos. Maybe you find useful tips for your bulk area there, I just watched a video on four ways in which you can organisze one and the same pantry. Very recommendable!! Otherwise I would also try to switch the spices into a drawer or on a movable plate (don't know how it's called in English) or put the bulk items into baskets or big boxes.

I have two weighted blankets. One is more of a single size blanket it’s 10 pounds and the other is a 20 pound king size. I’m not sure if the weight is for the blanket entirely or if when you’re laying underneath that you actually feel, say, 20 pounds. I say this because the king doesn’t necessarily feel heavier. It is a bit warm to sleep with so maybe a single sized one is nice just to lay with.

What about moving your spices to the drawers? You could get some drawer dividers to keep things organized. The spices would still be easily accessible and it would free up space in your top cupboard for the bulk items.

Hahah just watched the rest of this vlog and seeing the girls in the snowy park is making me want snooooow even more its been months since we had any!

All I could think of when I heard of Mia's word 'Scump' were scampi idk if you have them there. The definition is so specific 😆 exactly my type of humour. She's so funny. I also think its a nice challenge for her to creae a word that she might not have ever come across in any books that has no meaning already at least in da to day use. Its so cool to see how expressive she is now in a very abstract way. Just something about anthropomorphasisng shapes and time and space and givng them character traits is so cool.

What about getting like pull out drawers for that top shelf that has spices and oats in it, so you can make better use of that space there? I think you’d then be able to fit your bulk items in there. that shelf is really spacious I feel like you can make use of that!

Taking all bulk products out of their boxes may help you fit them in the baskets. If not can you swap for deeper baskets? Also having spices in pull out bins might help you find stuff. Pinterest would be the place to go for storage ideas 💯

Mike's "drop zone". My husband (who is also a Mike) has a similar drop zone that I don't know what to do with. It started out as a nice little tray on the bookshelf for keys that slowly morphed into everything-but-the-kitchen-sink situation. 😅

Another great video! It’s always a good idea to follow your intuition about what you want to share in these videos and a Q & A every once is a perfect alternative.

Maybe you needed the What’s Hapa-ning to get more comfortable with the camera but now you don’t can need it!

For tacos come to San Diego to El Puesto 🤩. I’m Mexican and I know those tacos are super good 😌 . I’m also reading that book, I almost done with it and I love it. We are super organized at home, when friends come to visit they always said our house looks like from a magazine LOL, because is extremely organized; but we have difficulties when we travel 🥴, next time I’ll apply all that advice, I know it will be great ♥️.

My favorite part of your videos is the way your girls talk. It's so fun to watch kids grow, but the way they speak when they're young is so precious you just want to capture it forever!

At almost any age we have our favorite ballerina dress or penguin PJs or thick socks with Kermit the Frog on them. This tendency is not limited to childhood. LOL. I'm getting hungry for French toast. Ah, in another month the sap will start to flow in the trees again and the collection of it will begin for maple syrup. I do not use pizza cutters for everything, but I do use it for things other than cutting pizza. I don't like to have utensils, tools that are not used for a variety of tasks. Someone will put all your old kitchen gear to good use because they need it. You got a lot of reorganizing done. So good that you get the girls outside in all sorts of temps and weather that isn't dangerous. We do that, too. It's cool that you both get a genuine kick out of your children. Children are funny and sensitive and often quite good company. Where did Mia get this "skump" thing? Is it on something on TV? Dinner looked good. The blanket is lovely. Aren't we supposed to have warmer PJs on our bodies and not as much weight atop our bodies when we sleep? Do let us know the outcome of this week's onion test with water.

I'm autistic and I have a super heavy weighted blanket (like I had to order it custom to be that heavy). It's amazing for when I feel anxious and want some deep pressure on my chest.
