The boyfriend worked Valentine's Day, and we don't celebrate it anyway. But I spent the night with the puppy and had taco soup and made chocolate brownies with salted caramel frosting because low carb diets are horrible.
Lovely meals as always Helen. I made a couple of your recipes this week, we had the chicken and orzo soup…..delicious! We loved it, definitely be making that again! Then on Valentine’s Day I made the rainbow peppercorn salmon with roast veg, again went down very Well! Will be trying the jambalaya soon! ❤️ x

We had takeaway for Valentine's dinner this year. It's hubby birthday and that's what he ordered. It was nice to take a break from cooking
Another great week of meals! Your Valentine's Day meal looked delicious. Love the table setting. We went out to dinner and took our 7 yr old. So we didn't go anywhere too fancy, but it was good. 🙂

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to a city about 4-5 hrs away from home, we had plans to get a pizza to eat in the hotel room, but hit major traffic so we got some fast food burgers. (Burger king for my fellow north American viewers) Definitely not the most romantic but theres nothing better than being with the person you love the most.
