Hi Tracy, stopping half way through the video to ask a question that i know I'll forget otherwise 😀. Steven mentioned dipping the cherries from your brandy into chocolate, what do you do with the other fruit…i havre raspberries, rhubarb and blackcurrants to come out of gin but not sure what to do other than make "fruit ice cubes".
P.s. love your honesty about the fridge and pantry keeps things real

Absolutely brilliant video, it's been lovely to see in detail how you're all eating, its give me some ideas and I can't wait for next weeks video. Thanks so much for doing this Tracy, I know the filming and editing must take forever. 🙂

Good luck. One tip that may help. I use a local farmer for my milk and it’s
Much cheaper that the supermarket and you know the farmer gets all the profits. I pay £1.20 for 4 pints which is £1.80 in most supermarkets. 😊

Been really looking forward to this and you did not disappoint – so good! Lots of good tips and logic behind what you do that can easily be adapted for different circumstances. 👍 I need to do a stocktake of our freezer – something that rarely happens and certainly doesn’t get updated. 🙄
I’m going to use your meal planning template as a starting point for us. One thing we do tend to do is make large quantities of some meals and freeze the leftovers to use almost like a take away when life gets in the way of cooking from scratch. Like tonight! 😂 Great series Tracy. xx

Great job with the start of your challenge. It was really informative and has given me the kick I need to do some modifying of spending and meal planning myself.
I will be joining in and doing what I can. I'm looking forward to next week's. 👏🙂

Good luck with the challenge Tracy. I laughed out loud when I saw your sausages! It reminded me of when my kids were little and I couldn't be bothered to brown the sausages, the kids would call them "dead men's fingers" They still ate them though lol.

Well done! Inspiring. Loads of tips and tricks.

I had noticed oil dipped in price recently and wondered what you’d decided. Depends on the parts and budget, obviously. Really hope you’re able to have the Aga up and running/ticking over for winter…

The outdoor kitchen is coming along nicely.

I’ve been waiting for this series Tracy 😊. I always struggle with what to cook with the ingredients I’ve got and usually end up sticking to boring meals that I always cook. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an app where you could input what you’ve got and it would give recipes. Alternatively, I’ll follow what you do 😊.

Just bookmarked your blog, you’re doing fab with eating what you have. I’m good at not having waste, if I have leftovers I just freeze them. I used to give it to the dogs or put it in the bin. I batch cook monthly and that helps a lot as we can decide the night before what we want the next day xxx

I need to sort out all my kitchen cabinets and use stuff up as I need to reduce my fat intake as I have just been told I have high cholesterol. Meal planning has always worked for me to reduce waste
