I hope to make it to the meet up gathering. This "souptember" and "noodlenovember" … is this for anyone to do? [Sorry if you mention this in the video … I had to stop watching to get back to processing stuff.] Dumplings are super easy – here's what I've been doing for about 25 years: 1 1/3c flour [I use unbleached spelt] 2T parsley [dry, or chopped fresh] 2t baking powder 1/4t thyme 1/2c liquid [milk, broth, water] 1/4c fat [I like avocado oil, coconut oil, or ghee] Combine the dry ingredients well. Combine the liquid ingredients and then gently stir into the dry. Drop by spoonfuls onto bubbling soup or stew. Add the lid and simmer "until done" … 10 minutes?
