We definitely should have grabbed the regular size shopping cart versus the smaller one. It is the Kroger’s Nine Days of Savings. Prices are good from 11/17 to …
Ibotta had a deal with Walmart. Purchase a turkey up to $15.00 and your received full amount back instantly. I did that and my turkey was free. The best part was even if turkey cost $13.00 you got $15.00 back.
I went early and got a 13 pound Turkey at Kroger. I always cook mine in a bag. That's the only way I have found that doesn't dry the turkey out and I use the juices all left in the bag to add stuffing. It is a hit every time.
Correction on ending sale is Sat
Meijer brand turkey is 33 cents a pd. Sale ends Sun. I bought a big turkey for under 5 dollars.
This is kinda fun as a Kroger employee. I worked for fred meyer
I always buy a bigger Turkeys because the 12 or 13 lbs. is more bone than meat. You can make a meals out a turkey.
How do you get the digital deals?
Stores around me have turkeys for 49 cents a pound.
Smell the pineapple if it smells sweet that is one way to tell if it is ripe. But pineapples ripen from the bottom up. So you should store your pineapple upside down. So the sweet juices flow from the bottom to the top and help the top to ripen .
I've given up buying whole fresh pineapples. 1/2 the time even when it's ripe, it doesn't taste sweet. Since I do love pineapple I only buy it freshly cut up where I can see/smell the sweetness. Since I am so frugal and buy just about everything else on sale, I don't mind this splurge ๐
Happy Thanksgiving!
I always stock up on 12 packs of pop when they are $3 each. Good deal๐
To see if pineapple is ready just pull one of leaves in the middle if it comes out it means it ready to eat
Nice shopping haul I enjoy them ๐
That was long walk to the store lol ๐
We're growing a leek from root. It's a great science experiment for the kids to see.
Asparagus looks bad
Pineapples were too green. Need to ripen. Not great in the store
Why do you only do Kroger. Meijer is nicer and cheaper. You don't do variety
Can you post your Crockpot Chicken Tater tot recipe? It sounds delicious ๐
i liked kroger icecream but they had so many flavers to pick from way toomany hyvee grocery store would have thire icecream on sale i think it was made by blue bunnyreally tasty then the pkg was reduced to a quart hardly worth buying such a tiny amt
Happy Thanksgiving. The rule with defrosting Turkey itโs 24 hours for every 5 pounds. I usually pull mine out a day ahead because my refrigerator is a bit colder. Love you all.
With Pineapples If the leaf pulls out as easily it is ripe and you can smell it. I am not a fan of sweet potatoes. Did you find a lot of shortages at Kroger? I did my shopping at Meijer yesterday and they were out of many things. Meijer had turkeys for .33 cents a pound. I really wanted a Turkey Breast and they were sold out. I did get a 12.3 pound Turkey for cheaper then the Turkey breast. I am going to portion it out and vacuum seal it with my Food Saver and have yummy Turkey dishes all Winter. Besides I like the dark meat better. Great price for the Butter.
I got my turkey yesterday I was so happy I got a 12 pound turkey and I paid like $0.40 a pound it was honeysickle turkey it was a young turkey but it still looks good I was so happy and I figured out how to use my card so I got digital coupons I can use my card and use the app so I save lots of money

Charcoal is a good prep item if you have that type grill. Can use it if the power goes out
I live in Arizona and I was looking at my Fry's ad while you were at Krogers. The weekly digital deals are the same price here. They were a couple of differences like the 12packs of sodas are 4/10.88 and the Butterball Turkey is 99 cents a pound. The Kroger Turkeys are 79 cents a pound.
.79 is cheap for green onions
You pull a leaf from the middle and if it comes out easily, itโs ripe
