You guys aren't only loopers but also artists. Your journey has been brilliantly delivered through your artistic license. I for one, have really appreciated that aspect of it. Thank you for bringing my world of the arts and adventure together. Love you guys.

We have been enjoying your journey since A + K introduced us to your channel. I’ve always had a fascination with the Great Lakes. At your recommendation, I’ve been reading The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan. There is a lot going on under the surface of that water. Thank you for helping to educate us.

Congratulations to you when you got to Chicago. Its a neat city to look at from the lake. In my opinion, not a great city to be in and walk around. It used to be a great place, but not so much now.

Early fall can be some of the best boating weather on the Great Lakes. By mid October the southwest winds begin to pick up and make travel very rough.

I wrote to you this spring that you were an inspiration. I did buy my Albin 36 trawler and this morning I am at my 530NM in almost 3 weeks solo from Montreal. I always watch your latest videos which keeps my spirit up dealing with my own challenges during my own journey. This video today is the perfect example of stress and victory. There is always a surprise awaiting in the corner that you have to deal with. I am now at my last stop and have to manage my own anxiety and analyzing of weather/wave window for crossing open seas, non stop of over 100NM to reach my final destination at Magdalen Islands. Thank you again to you both, you make a great team and it is refreshing to see that we all learn every day.

I can't tell if Jo's tears were joy or relief… probably a bit of both. Congratulations to you! Only one more big water experience left! Cannot wait to see your experiences in Chicago and the river system!

Wow. That mooring field! Great job! I love the excitement pre-arrival, that mooring field connection was awesome. I love Elliott’s anticipation of the Chicago River. I am so stoked and anxious on our boat how to get our air draft down to the right level (hint – I need a foldable radar mast, a future purchase). Such a great milestone – well done!

Looking forward to more Chicago and your next leg. Cheers! 🙂

Congratulations on making it to Chicago! Glad you had great cruising weather while on Lake Michigan (very glad you did not become an infamous shipwreck). Enjoy your stay in Chicago – looking forward to tomorrow's vlog of the sights around there. Onto the great Mississippi River (and hopes you don't run aground due to the river drying up).

Comparing both Lake Michigan and Atlantic Ocean , which are you more comfortable crossing ??? I have to ask because being from Michigan , I am more concerned about going down the river. Lake Michigan is a dream to cruise.

I think I've been watching too many dystopian shows I believe, because I'm thinking about a short story of Pivot coming into Chicago and being excited, just as you were. But in this story, Chicago is there, intact, everything functional But it's devoid of people. If you call friends or your parents and ask them what happened, they have no idea what you're talking about. All you know is that you're in Chicago. It looks clean, like nothing happened to it. It's just that all the people are gone and you have a whole day to enjoy the metropolis alone. The people are coming home tomorrow. Is that how you'd end the story? Or……..happens. u decide
