This might be my favorite episode so far! As an Indonesian I'm glad to see Indonesian food in one of my favorite youtube show. And you guys nailed it! Using the indomie spice packet was honestly a smart move.
Also, I didn't realize it's uncommon in other places to eat the chicken cartilage since we do it all the time here 😂
Ok, I know they're not chefs but as I was watching, I was literally thinking, ok, they have the common sense to not put the sopping wet chicken directly into boiling hot oil and to at least pat it or let it drip dry and oh no, I was very wrong…
U can't just put a ladal of liquid in your risotto and leave it. U need to keep adding stock and stir. It should take 20 mins of constantly stirring. Wow

I’m really enjoying the new season but I do miss the part of them rushing/cooking to the make the dish before the first arrives and I don’t think they put the price of the items they bought that make the total price (not sure if they did that before)
You flamebe' with cognac or brandy for risotto alla Ruota (risotto with flame). It is a much better compliment to the cheese. Vodka belongs with tomatoes. What a pity about that DOP wheel of parmesan….😪

As an Indonesian, I can understand Steven and Brittney's reactions to the oil splashing when they fry the chicken and how they couldn't breathe and cough when your mother cooks sambal in the house. Seeing other people struggle makes me laugh since that is what I used to struggle with every time I returned home.
we have a fast food restaurant called richeese factory here in ID (rip off name, I know) and they basically sell fried chicken with white rice and the chicken is dipped with super spicy. and then, you get to eat it with plenty of cheap cheese sauce (hence, the name richeese). there you go.
