I travel a lot around the US, and Texas Roadhouse is always a good bet. I know I'm going to get a consistently good meal at one (at least I have so far). Yeah, I've had better steaks elsewhere (for a premium price), but I know what to expect there and have never been disappointed. Plus, I like the atmosphere. And the rolls and cinnamon honey butter. What a great starter.
Most sit-down restaurants are closed for lunch during the week now, with many opening at 4pm.The lunch crowd was usually slow during the week before the pandemic and now it's basically nonexistent.
I've never eaten at TRH and the closest one to me is about 45 miles away (don't know why). Having seen the prices for their 20 oz rib eye steak with 2 sides at about $32 that's about what I expected to pay. Is it cheap? Nope. Are you paying for quality of the meat cooked to your specification? I would say you're paying for the expertise of the butcher and the cook so, yes. Would I pay this price? I would only do so if I were visiting from out of town.
In n.j the minimum wage is $13an hour So that's nowhere the low wages you were talking about.they are a good value for the money .I dont what people expect in today's World. that your going to a get a steak from the dollar menu? They do use to much salt and they have to be told light on the seasoning.
I won't be eating there. Manager's will cut in every area in order to increase profit as you can see; the 'tip pool arrangement' which allows non-serving employees to share in the tips of servers. That's not fair. Customers are not informed of this tactic. It's done so TRH can escape paying a fair wage. I'm so tired of seeing the 'little people' screwed over.
The food is great and, they take time out to fine out who the people feel about the food, the chef’s there have a great understanding about working as a team ,to get the food out with flavor and cooked well with the right ingredients to gave the tastes everyone loves so much.
Texas Roadhouse definitely isn’t cheap and for that reason, and only that reason I’m awarding this video with a downvote 👎. Congratulations you’ve earned it again.
I wish more restaurants would copy Texas Roadhouse in making drinks more expensive and the food cheaper. Food is #1 thing people come to restaurants for.
Was there 2 wks ago, 2 people got rib eye steak, no alcoholic drinks, bill was $63.00. Ordered plain baked potato, came loaded (wasn't charged), but potato was rotten in the middle. They use way too much salt and steaks are not that tender. Way over rated, would rather pay more and get a better meal somewhere else.
They don't like lingering at all, they turn the music up so loud so you DON'T stay!!! I went there once, and that was it for me. I never went back to that place.
How do you feel about the food at Texas Roadhouse?

Texas Roadhouse is good but it isn't a fine dining stake establishment
My daddy taught me how to say "no" it is real easy say no feels good.
Mashed is half right half the time so be careful. Texas Roadhouse is good, very good.
So long as you don't buy anything upcharged, Texas Road House is great. I buy only the 16 ounce sirloin with two sides and water: 20$.

We are surprised something with the name "Texas" in it is so cheap? Look at Dan Crenshaw?
When I lived by one used to get free steak on veterans day. Would pay for a beer and tip heavily.
Me and my gf had dinner and it was $55 without rip witch isn’t bad but isn’t cheap by any means
Btw, host and SA's do get a 3% tipout of TOTAL sales from their shift. Plus an hourly wage.

They have Good prices, Good Food!
REALLY ?? BS.
To be quite honest, even though I like there food,it’s been quite awhile since I’ve been to one because they charge way more than I’m willing to pay.
IDK why you think TRH is cheap…they are not cheap here in So Cal.
mid level steak house. Not bad considering how low the prices are compared to other steak houses.
slave wages and no benefits
Maybe Grandma wanted the extra shot of tequila?

I love Texas Roadhouse especially on the Weekend's 💞…….
$15 mandatory minimum wage in California will change all of that low wage factor.

Stop trippin. Cheap my black ass.
They have good prices but they definitely aren’t cheap.
