Peter, I know it was not your intent, but this was the funniest video and I chuckled all the way through it. From "not the vet" to "I don't know why grocery hauls are a thing." 🙂 🙂 It will be interesting to see how Elijah likes flying. And what a delicious-looking meal Mary and Elijah were met with!

Not only is thigh meat more flavorful (in my opinion), it has higher calories. I'm surprised Mary wasn't told that when she was trying to gain weight. That's why people on weight loss diets are told to eat breast….less fat/calories in white meat.

Sometimes it will help if you can put gas meds in with the formulas and make sure you shake the bottle with the formula so it won't be so hard for the stomach and the intestines so that they can digest the formula

If you have a colic baby pick up the baby girl or boy walk around the house in or outside that's if the weather is good for you and if they got gas bubbles keep patting them on the back unit you can get all the air bubbles out

Careful with spinach, it has TONS of oxalate which can cause painful problems in people's bodies if their kidneys can't keep up. Best idea is to give him more red meat regularly. Easily absorbed iron.

Dark meat is so much juicier and more flavorful. We only use chicken breast for homemade chicken tenders and to marinate in Italian dressing to grill. We are a thigh, leg, and wings family.

You steam those Artichokes, use a fork to poke the stem of them to see if it is soft. If it is. It’s ready to eat. Mix some butter and mayo in a bowl. Take one leaf at a time pull off and dip in the mix. With teeth pull the soft part of the leaf to eat. Yummy

I'm surprised you got generic diapers & wipes. They have ones like pampers pure and Huggies special delivery that are hypoallergenic and supposed to have no chemicals. I get it. It isn't like you're using them every day, but with him being used to cloth his poor bottom could be more reactive than some babies.
Congrats on flying and I hope your trip is going well.
    Thanks for the grocery haul.

I love your grocery hauls. I don't know that I would be able to watch many people's hauls but yours are great because it tends to be rather random. It reminds me of the ones that you all used to do on the kitchen floor in your MA house. Don't feed too many prunes to Eli at one time or you might be needing those disposable diapers before you leave on your trip. Prunes can be used to help "clean out" a little person when they have trouble going #2. Pears can also have the same affect if too many are eaten in a day at least for some. I hope you tried a disposable before you actually left to see if those diapers worked and didn't cause adverse affects for Eli. Not all diapers are created equal so don't assume that if the Wegman's brand doesn't work well, that it means that no disposables will work. Keep trying different brands until you figure out which ones work the best for you and your little one.
