I’ve never had @Hormel Foods Dinty Moore beef stew in my entire life. To be honest, I’ve never even heard of it. Somehow it all …
You guys have been SO nice with the food requests + donations. I’m GIDDY. If you want a video featured in next week’s YOU PICK WHAT I EAT/COOK series, hit the donation links (@SeanEly on Venmo + Cash App) or https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/seanely1 on PayPal 🍕🍟🍔🥓🥞🙏🏻
This is one of those things you are almost ashamed to buy, but do. You kind of look both ways in the aisle before puttting it in your cart or sort of hiding it between other items on the conveyor belt at checkout. Same way I feel about SPAM or Hamburger Helper or buying condoms when younger. I haven’t had it in a while as I became a fan of crockpot cooking and making myself, but this was a staple after a late night at the bars or getting something “wholesome” in my gut quick when studying. My kids love the spaghetti that comes in that exact same “toilet seat” packaging, just use a fork to punch holes in the top and nuke for 60 (in my case 66 sec because I’m too lazy to move my finger from the 6 to the 0 on my microwave so I just hit the 6 twice). Great video and channel Sean!
YOU Want those Bubbles
YOU Need those TOPO CHICO BUBBLES !
Dude this has been a staple in my life forever. Poor kid here…still love it. Add a piece of toast and you have a meal.
Thanks for taking one for the team, again. You brave soul! I do hope you did NOT give the dog the leftovers, that would be cruel.
If you didn’t like this, I was going to be forced to write a letter to my congressman.
We just ordered The Logo Game. You should do a video on board games. My wife and I are always looking for new ones to try out, especially for two people.
I was not expecting that. I've honestly passed on this item because of the name and branding. I just assumed it would be awful. Crazy.
I did ham and Lima bean stew in the crockpot all day while at work the other night. It was so good and especially on a cold Montana evening it warmed the soul 😂 Sound like a mom right there.
Who does #2 work for? That right, you give that turd hell!!!
When I was younger, we'd take this camping and heated the open cans over the fire. Sort of caveman, but delish.
It does taste good. And it gives you your sodium intake for at least 72 hours. 😁
Never ever have I tried one of those 😂
Dude, you honestly have one of the greatest channels on YouTube. You should have way over a million subscribers. Keep it up, this channel is awesome!
Like once a year I nab the canned versioned it’s a tad better for sure maybe it’s just in my mind but I swear it lol
It’s crazy how many things you haven’t tried! I have two chubby cans in the pantry right now!
That bowl slip 🤣🤣🤣
So you can make the holy white abomination with this too. Shepherds Pie! You just put the stew on the bottom and slap some instant mashed potatoes on top. Give it a quick heat in the oven, and tada…fancy white person dinner. Lmao!
I remember dinty Moore, I had a can or two of it last year & loved it, those were one of my I’ll let myself have some meat day’s, which I’m sure it’s mostly soy, great video. Something that’s good from a can is BEER! 🍺
I grew up on this beef stew. We would always get the giant can and let it simmer on the stove and eat it with buttered bread. So good. Now I need to go shopping!
YEP
If you keep a couple in your cupboard for a quick meal you'll find the bowl it comes in works great. And, no clean up.
When I was younger and my buddies and I would go camping we’d stop at the grocery and pick up food. They’d all get hotdogs, jtm burgers and I’d get two cans of Dinty Moore beef stew. Loved it on those cold winter nights.
I grew up eating this! It’s trashy af, but good lol
The drop itself deserved a like 😆
Omg this is the hubby’s fav and I just had it for the first time this year. Gotta say I don’t actually hate it.
Dinty Moore was a staple at Boy Scout Camp. But, since I'm 63, that was a long time ago…
So I don’t press the +30 multiple times on the microwave. Sorry to let you down.
Haha I literally just tried this after work Monday. I thought it was pretty good
The thing I enjoy your most about your videos is you’re such a relatable guy, Sean. Just going through your daily life and keeping it real and entertaining the masses, one day at a time. I think you just hit a lot of different people with your ability to keep things light and enjoyable, given the current situations. Love the videos!
Very nice. Thank you. (Dinty Moore beef stew was a staple on Boy Scout camping trips. Open the lid with your pocket knife can opener, place it next to the fire, soon you had a bubbl'in hot meal.)(I knew you were going to like it…)
Warning: don't eat the other Dinty Moore meals. They are complete ASS. Only eat the beef stew.
More island boy clips! Hahaha
Next week I’ll be donating. My cat went to the vet and was in the icu there. His bill was over 500$.
Dinty Moore is so good. (The short fat can is my go to). Back during this ice storm in the 80s that’s all my mom and I had along with some eggs and bread for a week with no power. Cooked it on a wood stove so it’s hella nostalgic.
Love the content bruh.
The way Topo Chico's bubbles look, makes me wanna enjoy sparkling water, but man, I can't lol never enjoyed sparkling water, still for life sadly. (also, I mean this as in, topo chico has SO many bubbles, it's the most bubbly drink I've seen)
Hey Sean, get the can and heat in pot on stove, cook white rice separately, and pour stew on top of your plated rice
Canned is better than that shelf stable plastic shtuff
would you do a video of trying foods from a place that your subscribers pick? may be a cool spin on sean's first time eating
Some chick named Sue makes some hella fine Chicken and Dumplings in about the same area of your grocery store.
Wait, Topo Chico is not uppity! It's the working-man's standard down in TX! I think we just think it's fancy because we have to get it specially imported up here 😂
I always pack a few cans of this when car camping! I'm a tent camper, and that first night after setting up everything? Oh, Dinty Moore is like the BEST MEAL EVER. Cheap beer, Dinty Moore beef stew, and a campfire? Pure Michigan.❤️😊❤️
honestly, we never had that in the house as a kid. but given your review i feel that i will have to give it a try.
i enjoy these microwavable ones for occasional work lunches. i loved the canned Dinty moore stew as a teen and young adult. I was a bit addicted to various stews for a time.
I am completely blown away that you like this.
Ya know, blown away like your bowels probably were after eating this.
When I was 20 years old I went to my stoner buddy's house ( Hope you are doing well, Vinny! ) and he had a pot of beef stew bubbling on the stove. I had the munchies and he let me have some— I was like Dude, this is fantastic, can I have the recipe? He looked at me and said Um, it's Dinty Moore… I felt stupid but have always looked upon that shit with fond memories. My nostalgic fav pizza from the 80's & 90's and STILL to this day is the Chef Boyardee box pizza kit! You GOTTA try it! Love this series of foods you are trying 😊✌️❤️
I used to LOVE eating the canned variety of this… PERFECT for the zombie apocalypse! I would eat it COLD if I had the munchies, NO JOKE. Sean, I knew you'd love it!
