I've never thought of using roses before I usually add plantain along with some of the herbs you suggested. with only lavender these salves can also be used for diaper rash. I keep jars of it on hand at all times and give it away when people come to visit. It's so nice to see other people making good, healthy choices. Thank you!

Thank you for this information. I'm getting ready to make my first batch of ointment. I think it is wonderful that you are telling people in small spaces how they can prep. That is so needed. A lot of people start out with a channel like City Prepping and then they don't stay in the city.

In looking over the ingredient list, I am struck by how much it would cost to acquire all those items to make this salve. It’s not like you can buy 4 T of raw honey. You have to buy a whole bottle.

Wonderful video! 💜💜 I make my own, as well, but I use coconut oil, shea butter, beesewax, tea tree oil, sometimes with a little powdered chamomile, sometimes with a drop of clove oil, sometimes with a little of my cayenne+turmeric-infused coconut oil, sometimes a couple drops of peppermint oil. As soon as I have room to grow a proper herb garden, though, I absolutely will be making mine with calendula and lavender.

Wow, so wish i had access to this type of, at your fingertip, info when my children were small. Thank you so much! Also, where do you find your beeswax and butters? If you don't mind sharing. Thanks again!

Instead of using heat and potentially destroying the healthy properties of the herbs, just pack a bunch of the herbs to a bottle of oil and let it sit for a month. If you already made the heated mixture you can use it while waiting on the longer version.

Nice. New sub here. Why not add colloidal silver to the mix. It’s what I use exclusively for cuts and burns. I put it in the spray container and just shoot it and everything That gets cut or burned

I love your videos. They remind me of simpler times and how we should all be living. I can’t help but notice the beautiful oil lamp you have behind you, is it an actual oil lamp or electric? It’s a gorgeous piece!
