    I had to watch this in two sessions, I wimped out the first time… I’m big into early nights and early mornings so I can go outside really early to do a yard project that may last six months. LoL. Anyway… on long road trips I often stop and buy a bag of potatoes and nuke them in the hotel that night. I like the Pampered Chef microwave steamer… perfect for these and frozen veggies if I wish. Anyway, the next day we’ll pass around the potatoes while rolling down the highway along with a shaker of the kala namak black salt. It’s like potato salad in your hand! Even my non vegan friends enjoy them! I also love to precook sweet potatoes, slice them in half, sprinkle with cinnamon (burlap & barrel Royal Cinnamon is amazing!!!) … put the halves back together and wrap in a paper towel. Put one of two in a container… plastic bag or box.. and carry with me on day trips… which might just be a shopping trip to Raleigh. Yummy and oh so healthy!

    What am I proud of today? I dug the roots of three crape myrtles out of one of my flower beds. Challenging for sure but I got it done. The mattock is my current best friend. LoL!

    Applause for your and Cheryl’s good work and yay for 90%! That was advice Dr. Fuhrman gave in 2011 when I was introduced to this was of eating. It’s always stuck with me. That and GBOMBS!

    (Abby typing) I had great luck finding affordable travel food thermos-like metal container at Asian markets-t.e. H Mart and Shop Park. I got just stainless steel ones which arenot as pretty as Kathy's but allow me to enjoy hot/cold drinks and foods at work.

    Missed this live! I love it! I watch almost all my McDougall meet-ups and lectures this way…..”killing 2 birds with one stone.” Recently found a translation into “Veganese”……. “feeding 2 birds with one (compliant hopefully) scone”. Kathy, you’ll need to work on a recipe!

    Hi Kathy. I watched the video this morning. You look lovely, cute hair and beautiful skin. I can totally imagine spending 5 hours with Kim Campbell, what a dream. She seems so friendly and personable, not to mention a wealth of information. Great to hangout with you!

    Yesterday I ate too much WFPB bread in 2 BBQ mushroom sandwiches…Knew I was not making the best choice, but, you gotta live & giving myself some slack! (followed Ann Esselstyn recent YouTube video- delicious).
    Back on my best eating choices today. Don't beat up on yourself.
