We just stick to once a month eating take out because it is something to look forward to as a nice no cook night and it will be no spend in January because we have gift cards from Christmas. I am still working on finishing my January meal plan because I wanted to go through and see what needs to be used up in the pantry yet. I did good in December using up a few things we needed to get done so making a plan to do it again. 🤞🏻
My family likes meatball sliders put frozen meatballs on pan and cook in oven then put on slider rolls. Cover meatballs with marinara sauce add monzerella cheese. Brush with melted butter with garlic powder and dry mustard. Then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese ( powder). It is delicious.
Something that has helped me keep a positive balance is have 2 separate checking accounts. One is "fun money" the other account is strictly for bills that way I'm not stressing that we over spent some of the bill money. Thought I shared since you said you check for pending stuff.
We just had sliders last night. I used a 24 pack of those rolls, then topped one section with ham and swiss, one with turkey and provolone, and the 3rd section with roast beef and swiss. I also add a little dijon mustard to the butter sauce. IT IS SO GOOD and a crowd-pleaser. Love seeing all your recipes!
For our anniversary next September I want to get a new couches so that is what we are saving up for and we are trying to have a family so whatever comes first.
I’m soooo in for January! I CANNOT wait! Happy Holidays, Dear Friends!☃️🎄🎁❄️ And as my adult children still say, Happy Jesus’ Birthday! Huge hugs from Hawaii 🌴☀️🌺🥰
We are definitely in for the eat at home challenge! We just bought a half beef so I don't plan on buying much meat at all either. I'm hoping January and February will be low spend months to build our savings back after the holidays. I'm hoping my family will save around $250 eating at home
Good Tuesday morning! Happy First Day of winter. It's in the 60's and 70's here in eastern New Mexico. It doesn't feel like winter, makes me sad. I want winter weather. Such a sweet day at your place. Yummy supper. Thanks for sharing your wonderful family!❤❤❤
Ashlyn is a wonderful cook

Layla is getting so big. Just talkin a way!
Oh funny I am sitting down eating my lunch of peanut butter and honey in a tortilla.
Try using fruity pebbles instead of Rice Krispies. They are colorful and most kids like them. I make them for my granddaughter but I don’t eat them.
I’m joining the eat at home challenge! 🙌🏻👏🏻
Awesome Ashlyn
