As someone who lives in the south, I have been through many storms and hurricanes. But after I went through huricane Katrina, I've had PTSD when any bad thunderstorms go through. Especially with high winds. I had to relive it all over again, when hurricane Ida went through. My anxiety can't deal with it.

no, these stories are so interesting, definitely talk however long you want. My parents house was flooded in 2019 and it was really crazy and confusing. There was a lot of construction that we had to do. So, I get your anxiety about storms, the weather is really unpredictable, which climate change is only making worse.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I was watching a storm chaser channel when it happened and was like holy cow it's 4pm and it looks like midnight in Texas right now. I can't even imagine what it felt like. I am actually about to move to TN and thinking about all the tornado weather down there makes me worried about leaving my dog at home alone. You never think tornado weather can happen until it hits you right at home even tho we see it all the time on social media and the news it's different when it hits personally. I'm glad all of you are okay! <3

Glad to hear that you are safe and it was only a storm. The weather in the us is so scary honestly and that video omg I have never seen anything like it. But I think this will only get worse with climate change sadly 🙁

The tornado was one of the scariest things that ever happened to me. I was without power till Sunday and my office without it till Tuesday. A lot of trees down on my apartment complex.. crazy and so unexpected. Glad we’re all safe!

I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but I just need to validate you for a minute and also say I so sorry you had to go through that. I was in Alabama during April 27th 2011 and while I know things like that day are few and far between please never doubt yourself. I know people that I almost lost that day because they didn’t go to shelter. Don’t push down your instincts because you don’t want to freak someone else out. At the end of the day if you tell people to go to shelter and nothing happens it’s a good thing and if something happens you may have saved a life.
