My family has been practicing self isolation for several weeks now and either me or my husband goes out to get food and the children stay home. I have found that initially I was overwhelmed with the panic buying and aggression from others (I am in Australia and it has been VERY upsetting to see people hoarding). Seeing empty shelves and severe limits on quantities I can buy was also troubling to me (we have a family of 12 so limits of 1 or 2 was still not enough to feed us all). I am creative so doing my hobby (quilting) regularly has helped. I was basting a quilt whilst watching your video :). I also do NOT like seeing anything except funny memes about the virus and don’t see the need for me to keep hearing the same thing over and over so I am in control of it I will seek out info every now and then ONLY to see what I need to do. I do not need to know what is happening in N.Y.C or China etc. It only confuses me and adds to anxiety. All this to say….I have over the course of my life suffered significantly from anxiety and have made so many positive changes to have a peaceful life that I don’t want to go backwards. Minimalism is something I have pursued over the last 5 years so now I see the need to have some extras because there being NO soap etc for WEEKS made me see that letting certain staples get to zero might inadvertently cause me unnecessary stress. I am enjoying your videos. Thank you 🙂

a lot of the nutrients from vegetables are just under the skin; for something like cake where you will not taste the skin you could try scrubbing the carrots and then grate – just a little idea
