I am not a hunter but I get at least one whole deer every year from family and friends. I use basically the same ingredients but I cook a whole shoulder or butt roast in my cooker. I don’t add the veggies until the meat will be falling apart when the veggies are done.. If I didn’t tell people they were eating venison, they would swear it was roast beef. Thank God deer season is coming up soon because I am out of venison..

I’ve been cooking with the instant pot for over 3 yrs….always heat instant pot first to hot….then add oil. Then add meat or whatever you want to sauté.
