You did something that I always do….turned on the wrong burner in the beginning. LOL! I am so guilty of doing that and not catching it right away. When I received your cookbook I instantly read it from cover to cover and loved every bit of it. I have made several recipes from it. My family loves your banana bread and Ellie's chicken pot pie.

Jennifer, Chad I'll say it again – you're the sweetest couple on YouTube! The soup reminded me of being a country kid and when you said you used the vegi's you had on hand, I smiled 'cuz that's how we made it too. It would get made alot on Saturday's with leftover veggies from the week, and Mom uses a Chuck roast shredded. Love the fresh Veg version you make….I could smell it. Wish I could say I was counting down days to retirement too, Chadd; but am so glad that you are at that work stage! My oldest Brother just retired, it's a wonderful thing for him and his family! Oh popped back on to add: Love the Harry Potter tunnel you rode your bike through, Jennifer – Glad there wasnt a Dementor chasing you, LOL. Ask the Grands if you dont know the Book Series. 💙

It’s 85 degrees where I live but no matter what this will always be my favorite soup to make! Brings back childhood memories (yes even in the summer!) Btw, your bread looks so good!!!

My Grandma used to make beef stew ever Halloween. So we would be warm and toasty when we went out trick or treating!
This is more like a soup. Not a stew at all! I think you forgot to flour the meat, so it would thicken as a stew should be. ☹️
