Bulk cooking/meal prep is a great thing to do. I live by myself, so sometimes when I have extra veg I cook and freeze it. In my freezer now, I have some cooked potatoes and carrots, and some cooked dried kidney beans. Might freeze some chopped onions later. When I make a stew later in the week, most of the prep is done, and it will take less time.

The falafel mix looks great a great proportion of herbs to other ingredients that’s just how I would make them The only differences I would add a little flour or chickpea flour just to bind the mixture and I would soak my chickpeas and not cook them and blend them RAW you get better texture when you cook them like this and sometime if im feeling super naughty I would deep fry them but usually in the air fryer or oven much love guys

These vids are great Paul, love the batch cooking info lately, along with the recipes.

You know what I’d find really useful, is a vid with tips for freezing bits. I know you’re good at prepping/organising meals, and also preserving stuff what with your allotment, and I’m really trying to get better at it myself but am sometimes wary about the best ways to go about it. Learned the frozen ice cube thing for drinks etc. from you, so my guess is you have a ton more similar handy tips in that head of yours…. if you fancy sharing em while you’re doing this bulk cooking series or in the future sometime!! I’ll also check out the playlist u mentioned. Thanks, lovely!! 😁💚🙌🏼

Paul, try a little chickpea flour (gram flour) or regular wheat flour and baking powder to the mix to hold it together better and a pinch of ground cumin in the batter is fabulous as well !! Xxx ❤

Chickpeas for the win 💚🌟 🥰Have you ever made falafel the traditional way in using soaked raw chickpeas, you will get a definite nuttiness that way as well as a crispier texture overall. Hugs and love to all 💚🌟🌈
