I got stuck at a steak house twice when working full time my boss was super sweet about it I got fries and a salad but could barely survive the night my boss's brother turned white as a sheet I know it was from all the animal products they all ate plus at the end they all ate some desert with thick creamy non vegan cream I felt so bad for him but I knew it was from the animal products noone ever gets sick from just veggies and rice at least I don't
Thanks for these creative videos! This is good to know 🙌🏽
Unfortunately I don't know if it's in El Paso thing but one of our steakhouses was really tripping when they added a vegan sausage to the menu didn't take anything away they just added something for vegans and people started tripping that they weren't going to go there and eat anymore. I'm like what is wrong with people I cannot stand people just hate radiating from everywhere I swear
Wow , neat video 👌
This vid is a great idea❤. As a vegan who has no vegan friends, I am always eating out at non vegan places.
I have to say here in the UK a lot of the chain pub restaurants are getting very good with their vegan choices, and oddly one if the best I've found us Beefeater.
Keep up the good work you 2, love watching your vlogs❤❤
I went 6 years ago as a vegan- with friends who LOVE that place. My GOD, having those slabs of meat continue to cross my face over, and over, and over, and over again was a LOT 😅 I think I ate from the salad bar, and had a baked potato or something. I haven’t been back 😂
I was forced to eat at a steakhouse when my parents knew I was vegan for thanksgiving one year. I forgot the name of it, maybe black angus but it wasn’t terrible, just roasted veggies.
The rice must be good, Jasmine is the rice concierge😅😅
Hello. I dont want to sound toxic but I honestly hope all the soy consumption by vegans isnt too detrimental . Soy was never meant for human consumption and its actually quite toxic. Not to be rude its just truth, its genetically modified and was done so as a means to extract chemicals from it to be used in chemical warfare. They then realized it was edible and cheap and as theres no need for chemical warfare anymore, they just started feeding it to everyone. Thats why theres almost no such thing as truly organic soy, as its genetically modified in its truest nature ( 90% of soy is GMO ) and all of it in the USA realistically is. I honestly lean towards the wheat/mushroom/nut/ other legumes type of meat replacements heavily as they are far more natural. I'm vegan btw and I eat mostly raw, I speak from a place of genuine compassion and consideration not judgement.
Question about the helix cooling mattress pad/topper. Can you use it year around or do you recommend only in the hotter months? Is it cool to the touch or does it more just reduce your own body heat?
Thank you. Nice to have options. My usual is salad and fries at a steak house.
Hi!!!
Love your videos❤
Yes the red and green cards are to show if you want more meat or no , so the waiters are aware.
I am from Brazil and its been a while a moved to Canada, but the steakhouses used to have huge salad bars and several vegetarian options.
Nice to see they also have some vegan foods now.
Thank you for sharing this 😊
Great to know. I won’t be going there unless I have nowhere else to go lol thanks for doing this
Thank you for sharing it with us! As a Brazilian, it’s extremely hard to find vegan food at a steakhouse. Even the salad bar… they add dairy to everything. Although I appreciate the place offering vegan options, I don’t think I’d pay 40 dollars for some “minimal tofu” and a side of noodles. We all know tofu is very cheap and to me it looks like they barely cooked it. I was expecting it to have a little crust, like they actually spent some time on it. At least now if I have to go I won’t starve lol
There is a Fogo De Chao right at the bottom of where I work. This is good to know. Thanks.
I'm not surprised as some of the best vegan meals I've ever had have been from steakhouses, improvised by the chef working there each time. It's really cool that they made so many vegan entrée options though!
Every time I order a vegan meal at a place like this it is drenched in oil and salt. They never add enough interesting spices. Very bland. I would love more restaurants to offer beans on salads too!
Always love you guys' content!!! Sideline silent sub here but I'm sure you already thought of it, a "make it better" video where you guys make a way more vegan-filling version of Fogo de Chao's vegan dishes that you had in this video. Please do this!!!!
This is very interesting! Thank you, I will go soon as I can.
I've had the salad bar only option for lunch price (while vegetarian, not vegan), and it was nice, This was years ago, and it was like 20 dollars
I really think videos like this are so great for showing people ways to stay vegan in even the least vegan places, for family functions and such
Having options at these type of places would be awesome. The one steak place my family likes to go I always end up with a plain baked potato and a side salad. I usually take my own toppings for my potato with me so it isn't so blah. Good to they are starting to make options for others. Thank you for the video.
I thought Fogo De Chao was a dish. LMAO
Are you guys cognitively slow?
Personally would be disappointed with these options. I don't want just a think of cauliflower for dinner(even with the side of edamame), not a fan of veggies drenched in oil, or just plain soft tofu with a sauce on top… as a place that expensive with a chef would expect way more
I took my (nonvegan) husband there for his birthday last year and had the cauliflower steak thought it was great. I also had the salad bar with my meal. It was really good, I would definitely go again.
I am super excited about this. I have friends that love the place and I never want to go. Lol. Now I can. 😊 I LOVE these review videos!
So I’m married to a Brazilian and I had to go to this restaurant way too many times with a Brazilian crowd as a vegan and years ago when I went …. There were no vegan options so I just ate salad while watching them walk around with swords of different meats that they would slice and throw on your plate in front of you and it was mortifying to me but, I dealt with it. Yes, the green card means keep the meat coming! What surprises me is most Brazilians eat so many bean dishes why wouldn’t they have vegan bean options? Thank God my husband went vegan a long time ago and dont have to deal with that anymore 😅😂😅😂
Me at a steak house: a salad, a baked potato, and a good martini-haha Nice to see some other options
I've gone to Fogo de Chao just for the salad bar! Their stuff is super good and it's only $15 or so dollars for all you can eat, pretty worth it imo!
I’ve never heard of this restaurant before. The prices remind me of a Ruth Chris steak house prices. Definitely a sticker shock at first. The service and ambiance are definitely better than the average chain restaurant though.
I've been wondering about that–my husband and I used to go to the Brazilian steakhouses for special occasions (for meat/salad bar, it's normally over $50 per person). Of course, after going vegan, we thought we would never go again. Good to know that could be an option, again.
i am sorry to be that person, but i need to know where the top is from hahaha
Wow. I just checked their menu online…. $41.00 for cauliflower steak?
