What kind of sugar? I thought sugar wasn't vegan 100%.

What temperature do you set the oven for?
Very nice. The old southern Grandmas made soul food Sweet Potato Pie with nutmeg and lemon. Cinnamon is more modern and Northern. I learned that about 35 years ago in Alabama, in the kitchen with 7 old ladies. I was smart to listen. They wanted to teach me because I was a young yankie gur, and we don't know any better. lol. Good memories, thank you for drawing them out.

I have now made Fly Vegan's sweet potato pie for two years in a row, so simple and delicious my husband loves it. I use Marie Calendar's frozen pie crust which are also vegan!

Can i use normal milk if i am not vegan?
Pie turned out good I had to add about 2 tablespoons more of cornstarch and I added brown sugar too.

@Fly vegan Recipes I used this recipe (I added a splash of nutmeg)for Thanksgiving this year and My vegan family member went insane I made her a couple of dishes and she was very grateful. Thank you as I am trying to introduce being a vegan into my regular diet
