⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ 1:15 should we care about “representation” or “whiteness” tough? Veganism is an ethical stance against animal use. It is about the animals. Not about us and our feelings. Even if only white people were vegan, I as a black person, would still go vegan because I have got my priorities straight.
    Stop making veganism anthropocentric.

When you are not preparing and eating to celebrate tradition, remember that extended cooking destroys many nutrients and esp disease protective chemistry in greens. Also, garlic and onions have the highest anti-cancer properties when consumed raw. The onions should be chopped finely, and the garlic minced. They should both be exposed to air for 10 minutes or more before eating.

Chop the collards more finely and microwave steam them for 2 to 4 minutes for maximum benefit. Add a little mustard powder for its myrosinase enzyme. That will greatly enhance the disease protective chemistry in the collards and other brassicas, esp broccoli and broccoli sprouts (sulforaphane). Sources: Dr Michael Greger, Dr Rhonda Patrick. Also wiki: Glucosinolate.
