I start my curry by putting onion with cumin and other spices right on hot oil, it supposed to help release the essence of spices better. Pepper is the last. I will try to add spinach like Sarah, never tried this before. Thanks for recipe 🙂 The dogs are cute as always

Hi guys, come on! fry the onion till its about to brown, add the garlic and the ground spices and cook while stirring for a minute. THEN add the water and the vegetables and stock. And please use Basmati rice, its SO much nicer with a curry. This way, you get the sweetness from the onion and the spices release their flavour properly. Try it, you'll be amazed at the improvement! Your recipe is for a flavoured stew.

    Well Nick and Sarah
I could smell and taste that wonderful curry here in Skegness.BUT guys get your act together and equip your van with some more sharp assorted knives.I was suprised Sarah you only had that one long knife to work with which must make food preparation a little tricky!.Any update on if you are going to fit a Diesel Heater?
