I have had a Keurig Mini for years and love it. My hack for a hot cup of coffee is just that: a hot cup. Before making a cup, I use the Keurig (no pod) to fill my cup with hot water. Then I pour out the water just before the coffee begins to drip. It’s kind of like heating a teapot before brewing tea.
I put a folded napkin on the tray to catch the drips. Thank you. Blessings….
I don’t think my Keirug makes hot enough coffee either. Especially for my favorite kind of coffee.
I have a kuerig k elite k90 that can program temperature.
I was one of those people who requested a review. I did just buy the instantpod after watching a few other reviews and have really like it. We replaced a large espresso/coffee pot combo machine, but just did a major downsizing so don't have much space. I bought the refillable cups, as well as refillable nespresso pods. Hubby is the big espresso drinker and said he needs to work on getting the espresso to his liking. Overall I really like it!
I got rid of my Keurig years ago. It was NEVER hot enough for me, and I wasn’t a fan of the waste it created. The convenience was amazing, though!
I got the instant pod maker on a Sam’s Club deal. It was only 69.00. I made 1 espresso pod (Peet’s) and had a lot of dripping afterwards. I returned the unit to Sam’s because it was not strong enough to compare to my breville espresso machine. I was trying to replace and older keurig machine with the instant one because I thought I could make decaf espresso in it. Liked the idea of the machine but just couldn’t compare with the strength I like for my iced latte. Thankfully Sam’s has wonderful return policy. Wasn’t an issue at all. I love my air fryer and instant pots though.
I am on my second Keurig. My first one, the mini, lasted years. I wanted a bigger one as my oldest wanted coffee too. So for Christmas a few years ago I got the Keurig with the tank in the back that holds over 4 cups of water. I believe it is 3 years old now and still doing great. Daily uses, with 1-2 brews a day.
My Keurig comes out at 170 F. Not sure of the model info, but the water tank is on the back, not on the side which I have seen on lots of other models.
And you can get it at Costco they have the 78 oz water tank
Auto correct: keurig
