I live alone and only once a week cook Japanese-style food. What kind of dashi preparation method would you recommend for me?
We have several International food stores in my area. The only dashi I have ever seen or bought has been the Ajinomoto Hon Dashi instant kind. Is there that big of a difference in flavor?
It's always nice to make it from scratch but in a quick meal them packages do have a nice taste to them
