Another season of United not addressing the key areas and signings required. We required a backup CDM , CB and a seasoned striker almost £200mil spent and none of these positions addressed. Spent 100M on Onana and Mount…could gave used those funds on second striker and Caicedo. Should have prioritized dumping Henderson and kept Kovar. Problem solved.
Yeah Hoyland was always supposed to be a young striker to learn off the experience one. But we didn’t buy that and almost spent the same budget on them. They probably thought he’d be about 30m not 60m. And we can’t shift anyone due to our high wages that don’t match our sale values. Only way to sell is reduce the price to compensate and just suck it up.
