    There are healthy and unhealthy ways to lose weight and yes most people take in too many carbs and especially bad carbs. That being said- going nearly fully without carbs is not healthy… you need carbs for multiple reasons just like you need other nutrients, how any sane nutritionist can recommend anyone to do something like this is just ridiculous…

    Our house is pork and shellfish (and tbh most fish) free, and it can be a bit challenging when the only meat your family will eat is beef and chicken. I've been doing ok on low-carb, but have to really find good options that aren't dairy heavy as well

    I was very thankful when I was able to find some pork rinds at a reasonable price at my local fruit and veg shop. I don't usually go down that particular aisle but I was looking for pepitas/pumpkin seeds and found them, but not the pepitas. It is so nice to have something crunchy to munch on. Usually as a side to my tossed salad and meat dish.
