Thanks for the sardine encouragement. I had never eaten them before. But I bought a can last night and just opened and tried. For some reason I thought I would find mini fish with heads on. Thank goodness it wasn't what I feared. Tasted great, better than tuna. Thanks for the encouragement.

Great advice, you are so right! I do my food keto-storinging in a very similiar way and it works pretty well! And onother thing: I experienced that the very dark chocolates in today's time had sugar added!! in order to taste not so bitter! (even expensive swiss chocolate too!) So I highley recommend to look at the ingedrients list an searching for the carbs and sugar! Thank you!!!!! Best regards from Vienna/Austria

I see Pamela Popper is dissing eggs again, citing the dangers of cholesterol. How on earth can something we’ve eaten since forever be unhealthy?

I prefer the SEASON Brand Sardines also; where the fish is caught is a quality factor worth the extra $. Lately, I have become a member of the Wild Alaskan Company and purchasing wild salmon fillets and recommend there fish, if you can afford the premium prices which is still better than eating out. Thank you for your excellent videos.

For me, the trick about coffee and to avoid the bitterness it has due to the hot (and thus violent) extraction of it's flavor, is to seek out cold brew coffee. It's smoother, mellower and does not need any dairy or sugar to make it tasty. All you get is the effect and comfort of the cold brew. You can also heat it up got HOT cold brew (since it's been cold extracted, heating it up does not produce the bitterness as HOT extracted coffee). Try it for sure! ✌️

A nice addition for those new and missing their breads is low carb tortillas, I like mission brand. I like a wrap style sandwich with egg, fish or chicken salad. These are super easy and filling.
Thanks for all your great work Dr Eckberg, changing the future by returning to the past with good nutrition. 💕

Thank you Dr Ekberg for telling people to stay away from predatory fish four years ago I contracted Ciguatera and suffered extreme paralysis and I could not even touch my face with my hands I was unable to to do many things and the Dr's at first could not figure out what was wrong with me, I live in Florida and I try to warn people that it is happening to a greater degree than ever before because of the oceans temperature has risen. I am now surviving with this neurotoxin as it has effected my life forever but I have found doing the intermittent fasting seems to be helping me and on March 1st I started OMAD and will do it until Saturday to see how I am doing if I can make it that long. again Thank you for your great videos and information.

Dr Sten, in follow up of this video, could you do another (perhaps named as advanced keto or expanded), talking about the quality of foods and potential negatives such as high omega 6 fats, lectins, oxalates and so on?

It's funny doc, I learned the exact avocado technique you use yourself about 2 years ago on my own after a lot of trial and error and throwing out avocados gone bad. Now, I hardly rarely ever even have a bad spot on an avocado any more. I buy them in bulk at a time when they are on sale and rotate them in the fridge like you do.

I love sardines. My favourite recipe: Fry red onions, add some yellow peppers, broccoli and kale for a few minutes and season to taste. Drain the sardines, add a bit of lemon juice and vinegar and mash it up a bit. Then put the sardines over the cooked veggies. It’s low carb and really really delicious.
