Did this today. Great. Used leftover smoked turkey.
Would be better with homemade mushroom soup.
Needs a cup of frozen peas
Chef John using canned soup in a casserole. My soul died just a bit…
My only critique would be to incorporate that skin into the chopped meat! There's so much flavor to enjoy!! 🙂 this looks all really yummy 🙂
Yummy
Hi Chef. My husband made Tandoori Turkey this year for thanksgiving. We just gave it a new avatar ( look) with your recipe. I didn’t have to add Garam masala since the turkey had tandoori masala and I sautéed veggies like celery, mushrooms, onions, jalapeños and kale and mixed in with the turkey in this casserole. Thanks for the recipe. Itcc CDC was helpful
My first attempt is cooking. I made my first roux !
I diced up turkey and leftover ham in it too….so delicious.
I’m you’re number one fan!
Did you say you like big balls? I know I do he he.
Nothing is good about mushroom soup nasty fungus ,use cream of onion soup or cream of celery soup or cream of chicken
I am the casserole queen..

Delicious, Never thought to do something like this with Turkey mind you I make something called Turkey & Apple with XXXOld Cheddar risotto. Similar process as this except you dont bake it.
I go a different route with mine, but your looks great also.
I made this and it was fantastic!
Excellent, nice recipe, making it with what I have tonight
As I eat a bowl of this, I would like to add go easy on the tarragon and masala seasonings. A little goes a long way
So glad I came across this channel…❤️
Yum!
Lost me on the peppers.
And days of cafeteria past with the Turkey Tetrazzini
What was the name of the one your mom made with the pimentos and she did in in a skillet and served it on toast spears? That would make me tear up about now.
Beautiful Turkey Casserole!
I’m about to pass out because of all the hot carb on carb action
Tremendously gorgeous Turkey Casserole dish! This is my dream come true! 😍

I have ‘liked’ your video 5 times, I have referred back to it, each time I have re-like the video, strange!! PLEASE keep up the good work!!
Looks pretty good, gonna try it with some leftover green beans and asparagus., cuz I don't have any peppers on hand. Thanks for the video 😊 ur funny
God damn I wish you were my mom John.
I like big bowls and I cannot lie. Rickman version or Cumberbatch?
Ha! Chef John, sorry, but I can eat hot turkey sammidges until the cows come home!
It's much easier to distribute everything evenly…also known as distribute. 😂😂
Only Chef John would say something like, "I'm gonna throw in the garam masala, and NOW it's time for the secret ingredient!"
That looks so awesome!
Lost me at cream of anything in a can. Not that hard to double the roux, open a can of evaporated milk, and slice some 'shrooms.
I like Benedict Cumberbatch's version of "I like big bowls" best.
Is this different from Turkey a la King?
