One of my favourites is "Champ" Mashed Potatoes with Spring Onions mixed through it, your green ones would be PERfect for it! I love it served with Sausages and Peas or Green Beans. I'd have no problems diving into your Turkey Bake either though.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. It reminds me of a recipe my Momma would make with the leftover turkey. Momma use to boil her turkey remains and let cool and get the meat off the bones and chop it up and put it back into the pot with the broth and add some chopped up scallions or sweet onion. Cook till the onions was tender and add some salt and pepper, if needed. We use to eat it with some fried flat cornbread (lacy cornbread) and some baked sweet potatoes and boiled field peas or butterbeans.

My Egyptian Walking Onions save me all the time. They are delicious cooked in the crock pot with white beans. I cook this meal on days I’m busy gardening.
