Yes! love the Tuesday Talk. I learn something new every time. a little weight loss hack I use is organic apple cider vinegar. I put about 1 ounce in water with ice an hour or two after last meal. I sip on that till bedtime. I lose half a pound every couple days. Lost 1.4 pounds in 5 days. Also at 72 and sedentary doing keto-vore but mostly the vore.

I am thoroughly enjoying your 80/20 food ideas. I just started 80/20 after reading Dr. Bright’s book and watching your videos as well as My Zero Carb Life interview. I appreciate your honesty and straightforward way of discussing how you make it in this WOE.

Anita, I want to thank you soooo much for your last 3 videos! I've been super busy & would tune in to youtube on my large screen t.v….but then I couldn't comment from there! haha! Although I am doing an IF-Carnivore approach, I so appreciate learning about & seeing real meal samples for 80/20 & tutorials from you because it is just another tool in the toolbox, in case I want to try that approach someday. Anyway, I hope you ealize you're the Queen when it comes to Keto <3! I so appreciate your kind, fun, super-sharing personality! *At end of this video, you asked what else we'd love to see & being that we're deep into our cold temps here in Alberta, I'd love to see if you still drink bone broth and if so, a homemade version that fits your 80/20 approach. On a completely different note with my own sharing….my only nemesis is not having craft beer-definately not Carn-or Ketovore-haha! I'm pretty sure that my craving for it is to put on body fat to stay warm in our -29 temp today! hahaha! (But, really…). I am trying hard to be on the path fully with Carnivore and with holidays coming, I do realize that there will be exceptions…but in a controlled way. Anyway, thank you for the tons of meal samples and nutritional ketosis info you've been putting forth! <3

I am really enjoying your Tuesday talks. I am like you in that I am finding weight loss a challenge and watching how you are managing your diet gives me suggestions in my own diet. It is also good to see someone who is a person like me having struggles, it is good to see that I am not alone and that it is not because I am necessarily doing something wrong. Your videos are helping me to stay on track and not become disillusioned with my chosen lifestyle….thank you!

Hi Anita, sounds a lot like how my sleep pattern used to be (5 – 6 hours). Mine improved after I first removed coconut oil and then when I replaced butter with tallow my sleep went to normal (7 – 7,5 hours). Results were very quick, 1 – 2 days. Not sure what the mechanism is, but I suspect the higher oleic acid has something to do with it.

I had the same sleep pattern until I heard Dr. Berry talk about melatonin. I was taking 10 mg of melatonin at night and he said more is not better. He said we didn't need more than 2-3 mg. I reduced my intake to 2 mg and the problem went away. I sleep 7 hours straight now. I take 400 mg magnesium and 2 mg of melatonin before bed.

Hi Anita, regarding the less-cooked hamburger patties: In the foodie world that is considered the best way to eat these! If you have a trustworthy source for your meat, it is usually fine to eat them this way. I learned this from my chef/baker/foodie brother who said we in Canada seem to be much more concerned with cooking our hamburgers to death. To each his own!

Yes, please continue your Tuesday Talks with 80/20 and your results, meal ideas, and any other info that you think is pertinent. I really enjoy them. I will be doing 80/20 right along with you in Dec.and love your encouragement. Being T1D and having to take insulin it is very hard to lose weight. With the 80/20 I don't have to take as much insulin, my sugars stay much more stable, and I notice on my meter that my spikes have almost gone. Still have the dreaded Dawn Phenomenon but maybe that will lower eventually. Way to go on your weight loss, any is a victory!

Anita, please keep doing what you’re doing. Even though I’m not doing 80/20 yet, doesn’t mean it’s not valuable and interesting information . I may have had to look away when you ate nearly raw ground beef, haha, I still love your channel very much and look forward to all of your videos!

Keep going and do what you're doing. It helps to have someone's honest journey. Also, for those are worried about your burger temperature and you can use a sous vide, for about 5 hrs at 126f degrees, 128 for about 3.5 hours, or 130 for about 2 hours and you'll be pasturerized and safe. I like that 130 for a couple of hours and then sear very quickly in a hot skillet. Like you though, I don't really worry about how rare it is. I like it like yours. Thanks for what you do on this channel. 👍

Oh please continue sharing your 80/20 journey on YouTube. Like you, I'm in my 60s (65), have been dieting most of my life, and decided to switch to 80/20 from a quasi Ketovore diet. I've been on it for two weeks, goal is to do it for a month. I really enjoy your YouTube postings; you help me to stick with this crazy eating plan.
