    Congratulations on your whoosh! 😊 I ’m like you. I like to watch YouTube videos and podcasts from many different sources and pick the things that will work for me. I am postmenopausal and I am following Dr. Mindy Peltz’s 30 day reset from her new book Fast Like a Girl. I don’t know if you’ve read it, but she emphasizes fasting variability to mimic a female cycle. So continued success and I really enjoy your videos! ❤

    I'm so happy for you. I did my measurements today and since Feb 1, 15.75 inches off overall. I was disappointed I only lost 5 pounds but that's a victory as well. My March challenge is to do a strict Lion diet again with just fatty beef, water and salt. My freezer is full and I'm ready. Keep up the amazing work.

    I'm a subscriber. I'm asocial and don't have anywhere else to shout this from the rooftops (I won't do deFaceBook). So sorry for kind of high jacking this comment section for my own agenda. I have struggled and failed to do the low carb since April 2004. About 5 days ago I started a high protein, low fat, not low calorie, not counting macros, what of eating, and I'm finally losing weight and although I still struggle with polyphagia, I've managed to stick to the program and am finally hopeful. Thank you for all your videos , and your friendly encouragement, and your recipes. I just needed to tell someone.

    I notice in your videos that you are trying to make all kinds of recipes to make you feel like you are not on a diet. Did you ever try to just eat very CLEAN keto or carnivore? Just meat and a few veggies possibly. I think your weight would come down a lot faster.

At any rate, I was so inspired by your results with that now my husband and I are doing one beginning Thursday before doing 90 days BBB & E. I grew up eating sardines and kippers, so I eat them about every other day any way!     I was scheduled for a water fast, but had a blood donation scheduled for tomorrow, so switched to sardines. Got a call at 5pm – my appointment was cancelled! I have to wait another 4 weeks, as the rolling 1 year calendar would have too many donations! ugh. Ok, the sardines prepped me for the 72 hour fast that started a couple days late.

    Yes to sardines, yes to water fasts, yes to fat fasts, yes to high protein days, yes to MIXING IT UP – and tracking your glucose and ketones through it all! Burning through the excess – fatty liver, fatty hips, waist, thighs… conquering insulin resistant, one day at a time!

    I love how dedicated you are to trying different things and showing us exactly how they go! I also love your calm spirit in regards to all of the opinions that are offered about what you ‘should’ do with your diet.
    I’m not a YouTuber and yet I am often told how I I am not eating enough or that what I am eating isn’t perfect enough. It gets hard sometimes to keep my head screwed on straight and not get mixed up with all of the suggestions.

    I gained 2 pounds this month. I am pretty certain some of it was muscle mass as I started a small exercise routine. Glad you had some good losses. Hearing about it was encouraging to me.
