Please tell them we do it it always with bread and butter to dip in the gravy and meat.. or over rice..
But our favourite is bread or bread buns..my favourite…potatoe bread buns wamed with butter spread on it… Roti too ..which here in Canada many people from Pakistan live…we combine their best and ours. By the way I absolutely LOVE thier food. And I bet it's even tastier there since they cook it the best way..ie: clay ovens….or in coals ..no better taste than that 🙂👍..naan bread is so delicious too…I haven't had dinner yet…I'm making myself hungry talking about food lol. Ps…there is a restaurant in BC Canada.Vancouver that cooks thier traditional way …it is so delicious . ..but we have many restaurants all over the mainland of BC. Serving thier traditional food..so just to let them know we've tasted and Love thier food.

I made this for my Pakistani mate a long time ago, he was worried at first that it was gonna be bland but he knew it was an arse to get halal beef so resigned himself to eat it all, he loved it. His fav bit was the gravy and crusty bread. Proper northerner deep down 🤣 I also encourage everyone to try traditional Pakistani food, it's frigging amazing

We like meat and potatoes stewed with green chile that is grown in New Mexico. We eat it with tortillas. When we make regular stew or even chili with beans, we always make a pan of cornbread. Some time's I butter my cornbread and eat it alongside the meal, while other times I crumble it up in a bowl and ladle the stew/chili on top of it. It's all good eatin.

I understand that what we call "stew" in the West is curry elsewhere. We don't serve roti with it because the potato serves as our starch. Next time I make stew, I will serve roti to cut down on acid. Thank you ladies!
