Looked Perfect!   I have that same exact Hamililton Beehotch cooker! the probe is GREAT for BRISKET!….but your right, remove it as soon as the Temp says its done, because even at low or warm that Hamilton holds a lot of heet before it starts to cool down.
Witch is great for Soups and Chilis!

What a great technique! The roast looks awesome as is! I have had that very same model slow cooker for years and have never used the probe. Now I will! Bet it would work real well with a Eye of Round roast. Oh and I'm a new subscriber and look forward to checking out all of your videos. The only downside of this channel is your wearing of the 49ers cap. 😉 I'm a huge Saints fan and remember the days of Montana killing our playoff dreams in the 80s!

sometimes I'll sear a roast on my charcoal Weber outside and then bring it in to finish cooking in the slow cooker. it turns out real good like that. it gets a good sear and it gets the flavor from the charcoal.

Looks good but a little overdone to me for this cut of beef.

Try cooking it next time more like a prime rib roast (rare to med-rare) and pull it out at 125-130 and then broil/sear the fat cap area for 2-4 minutes.

    I 💟 TriTip 👌

For the tastiest TriTip, you should cook it fat side up. It all drips down into the meat 👌 yunmy

Potatoes and veggies with a TriTip in a slow cooker is excellent too 😊

…Now THAT looks great. If you cooked it 2 hours and 16 minutes on low I might do 2 hours even and maybe sear it a bit under the broiler…Thanks again Jim…Now to try and locate tri-tip here in Florida…LOL…

I always wondered where you lived…I was thinking Colorado. I have visited the Northern California area a few times to go to Ukiah and Calpella. I had a friend Bryan Zell that was from there. His dad is Oberon Ravenheart Zell…..he is a wizard in the community and pretty famous up in that part of the state. He is the one who had the unicorn/goat yrs. back. The meat looked really good. Thanks for posting.
