Glucose peaks and the roller coaster glucose levels throughout the day. Last I heard, it is best to start first meal with savoury dishes, to eat first fibres, secondly proteins, then fat and always eat fruits or sweets last. It helps with reducing the glucose peak not only for that breakfast but throughout the day. High peaks of glucose are linked with feeling of depression and fatigues. It has to do with the mitochondria which get stressed out when the sugar level is too high. Also Sweet food produces dopamine which is addictive. Another food apart from the vegetables which reduces the high glucose peak is vinegar. One more info that I gather is that it is best to move muscles after a meal because some of the sugar in the blood will go directly to the muscles.
