Wait, wasn't that a bit of cottage cheese blasphemy?! hee hee
We love the cauliflower Gnocchi and the fire roasted corn that you find in the frozen food section π
Those half moon cookies are "black and whites". A NYC classic. And delish. I've never had them from Trader Joe's, but they are a cake like cookie with vanilla and chocolate frosting.
I love Trader Joeβs so much but the closest one to us is an hour and a half away π
Love your glasses!
The lemon cookie candle is wonderful… I am on my 3rd one!
Love your channel! I started my own channel yesterday. You inspired me so much along with a few other YouTubers! Hoping I can be an inspiration to people like you are to so many. β€οΈ
I think the elote corn chips are awesome very addictive. β€
I am addicted to the elote corn chips with a scoop of the exact cottage cheese you purchased on top. I cant stop eating it! I really enjoyed the limone alfredo sauce as well (after I thinned it out). I had it with their red lentil pasta (and a few other ingredients) and it was delicious!
My family LOVES the half moon cookies! Some people think they get stale too quickly, but they never last long enough in our house to get stale π
I wonder if the corn salsa would be good on salad. The limone alfredo was it good? What about the almond oil, was it foamy?
Great haul! My must haves:
– Orange chicken, of course
– Queso
– chocolate chunks for baking
– the BBQ seasoning with coffee in it (I think it's seasonal – comes in a brown tin container)
– salted peanut butter
– The cornbread mix is amazing!
I love the sage and cedar wood spray cleaner. It removes grease and leaves no residue. I also love their hand soaps!
Side note: you genuinely seem happier in your last few videos.
screw smoothies, if you are someone who like to chew…..as I do. they are full of sugars ad not chewability.
Lol…thought of you today… I don't watch anymore but isn't it funny that Trump is the youngest male running???? I have been around for awhile…not a Commie…loves America…Best president EVER!!!
almond biscotti at Costco is delicious. I sooo want to try that lemon Alfredo sauce on salmon. I already bought the salmon, just need to go to Trader Joe's for the sauce.
You made me literally LOL when you said the not to buy the Furikake because it tastes like fish food!! π€£π€£ I go to the Asian market specifically for that! Two of my kiddos LOVE it on their plain white rice. I had no idea that trader Joe's carried it. Might stick with the more authentic version or I may pick it up sometime just to try it.
Jen: βI treat Trader Joeβs as a stockpile shopβ
Also Jen with almost everything: βso Iβve never bought this before but I thought Iβd try thisβ πππ love your realness haha
Great haul I like the biscotti cookiesΒ just finish mine today the peanut butter and jelly bars are great and a few other thing that you haul I use. Elote seasoning I haven't tried yet. I haven't been to trader joe in a while but will be going sometime this week. TFS your video.
I have the furikake seasoning. I havenβt used it yet. Iβm going to use it in rice. I canβt wait to try the new elote seasoning that Iβve been reading about.
Iβve gotten the pizza crust before. Itβs great for a weeknight dinner. I havenβt tried the pancake bread yet. The corn tomato-less salsa is very good. I bought it the last time I was there. Weβve had both of their macaroni and cheese – my son loved the pepperoni version the last time I bought it.
I have a random question for both you and Adam. And your opinions when you go to Kansas City where is your favorite place to eat barbecue? Iβve only been to Kansas City once. Iβve been a Chiefs fan my entire life. But we live a little over 14 hours away. When I went there two years ago we tried gates barbecue. I did love it but I was wondering if there was others that you guys preferred over gates since you travel there more often.
You can ask an employee for a sample of cookies or what ever you want to try at TJ
I never noticed so many corn products at my Trader Joeβs! Two people from Iowa just love corn?π
The best elote is super simple to make! I was born and raised in Mexico so I've had my fair share of them and the best and simplest way to do them is steam stweet corn on the cob, slather mayo on it, cover in either crumbled queso fresco or the kraft parmesan cheese, squeeze some lime and sprinkle chili powder on top and that's it! Oh so good! You can also do this with canned corn if you like it in a cup π
Furikake is so good! The actual one from Asian stores is good but I'm not surprised the one there isn't good lol! That frozen tortellini is good too btwππ»Always enjoy your TJ hauls!
It was a good idea passing on the bulgogi. If you see anything advertised as Korean barbeque good chance it is bulgogi. In fact you made something similar just a few weeks back with your Korean fusion tacos π Great video as always, our closest trader Joe's is a good 30 minutes away. Some of their deals are great, but some seem overpriced.
The almond oil is great for shaving, way smoother than any shaving cream Iβve tried!
The salsa authentica and spinach artichoke dip (frozen section) are amazing! And if they ever bring back the speculoos cheesecake bites…buy all the boxes!!
Euyctolptus (fresh or dry) is a natural bug/spider repellent π
Be careful using that in your shower I've used something similar and almost broke my butt lol
I don't shop Trader Joe's too expensive, but I do shop Sprouts, They have great produce.
I tried the new almond shower oil itβs nice and I saw on another video maybe? Maybe on Pinterest who knows? Well itβs a knock off of the one that LβOccitane sells for WAY more $$$
Hey that's my trader joes!!!! π
I never coconut cashews sounds good great haul
I live vicariously through all you lucky people with access to a Trader Joe's. π I've been dying to try the orange chicken for a million years.
Like the vegetable masala burgers and salad kits.
I love love love those chocolate croissants. Definitely try the Half Moon Cookies. SOooooo delicious! They are soft little cakes and the frosting is perfect. Iβm really looking forward to trying that Elote seasoning. Gotta put a TJβs run in my near future.
I have made a pb and jelly bar that I think is originally a Martha Stewart recipe and it looks a lot like those blondies you picked up! Amazing!
I've had that lentil salad too….it is really good! Probably could meal prep a homemade version. π
Jennifer, what do you do with coconut aminos please?
W
Cookie butter is always a fav and I recently tried their red pepper with eggplant spread and it was delicious. Either as a dip or on veggies. π
Pretty scarf x
I love their cornbread crackers, and kettle corn.
The everything but the bagel dip is good with their pita chips!
Follow Katie Hespe. She does Trader Joe's hauls, and tasting's. π
The half moons are my favorite!
My son tried the hibiscus flowers for what it's worth (20 yo) and hated then. As a kid living in the Philippines we would pull out the stamens and suck on them. Loved them. Picked up your TJ seasoning you like on my snowbird travels. Heading home this week. So, if you see a crazy lady in a little blue car with Montana plates flying by waving, it's me π If my son (who's 25) got sick up in Montana with a litter of puppies on the way, I'd feel terrible π
So… I love your videos!!!
But every time a see a video of yours under 30 minutes I'm kinda immediately a bit disappointed…. I just feel they're not long enough π€·π»ββοΈ
Always fun to see what other people get at Trader Joe's. I will have to look for the potato/green beans and mushroom side dish and the salad next time I go there. You probably know this, but Katie Hespe here on YT, works at TJ'S and she does hauls on what is new in the store. She and her husband will do taste tests on the items. I have learned about different things to try through her channel. Thanks for sharing.
TJs! β€πPlease let us know how the Elote products are. I saw the seasoning on IG and was like, "Oh, yeah!"
A YouTube TJs haul isn't complete without the orange chicken- amiright?!π€£πβ€
