They have been gone about 4 years now. 12 and 13 years they were. Anyway the harvest is amazing,,.looks like a lot of fun. God Bless you all. Sending high fives from Wisconsin!

And are your skies really that turquoise Mrs. Carolyn?? I have never in my lifetime seen skies such as that!

I agree, a little music really helps motivate me whether I'm putting up herbs or cleaning house. And…yes, make it fun for the kids and you. I really like your outlook on things. Your garden is beautiful, by the way
It is great that your children are involved in the work. Thank you for your tips👍.
The crockpot is a life saver on busy days! Especially since you have me doing dairy in addition to all the preserving at the moment 🤣 (we don't have dairy animals – so I don't have to be doing it now – it's just so much fun…)
Thank you for inspiring us in so many ways!
Thank you. I think I fall into a trap of trying to do all the kitchen stuff and sending my kids to do wayward chores. Things may actually run more smoothly if I let go of some of my ideas and plant new ones.
It's Extremely helpful if you have all the equipment laid out and ready for preserving. Jars washed/sterilized and ready, lids and rings laid out, strainers, food processors, bowls, kettles, canners, seasonings, jar lifters, etc. It's very frustrating to have to hunt for an item that you thought you knew where it was. I found it helpful to think through the whole process and determine where my children might be helpful and in what order things were going to get done. If needful, write it down so you don't get distracted. Saves a lot of stress☺.
Good advise! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️✝️😷
I'm glad I subbed to your channel. Last year I started a garden and got chickens again.
Definitely needed to hear this today!
Beautiful garden…goals!
Good advice! Surveying what you picked and then deciding what you are going to use it for based on your pantry inventory is a big one for me. I sit down with a coffee and come up with a game plan that no doubt includes multi tasking. For the fruits I am making jam out of I throw them in the freezer and make the jam in January after the Christmas rush is over. fruits for jelly (apples) I cook down and freeze the juice and can the sauce. It just takes some pressure off at this time of year.
We listen to the Miami Sound Machine!
You are beautiful and a giant ray of sunshine ☀️🥰💕
Our house would be filled with music from the fifties. I would be dancing and singing with the kids. Still do this. Getting g ready to teach the grandkids. Leslie Gore, Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows. A great one for small kids.
I believe a good positive attitude is everything when it comes to life in general. When being a 'glass half full' {of blessings} type of person, it can be a little bit difficult to be around 'glass half empty' types of people. I pray for them.

Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
